I'm really feeling of the Denmark team and fans today. Two pretty hairline VAR decisions impacted the game within a short period. I does sometimes feel like VAR takes the fun/luck element out of the game.
I think about what if Maradona's hand of God was VAR'd no goal. Sure its the right decision, but it takes away a now iconic moment in football history.

This is a great writeup.
I do wonder though how fedimint would effectively work in Europe with its custody laws (the federation being a CASP) and requiring to do KYC. I guess the obvious answer is no federation would operate within the EU and European citizens would join federations outside the EU.

This is my last week fiat mining.
In January 2023 Breez open sourced their SDK and I was so excited about its potential. I had heard about Greenlight for the first time at Bitcoin Honeybadger 2022 and know first hand the limitations of running a non-custodial node in a mobile application.
I spoke with @npub1ey6…szvp for the first time in February, his ideals and approach towards Bitcoin and free markets resonated with me so strongly I wanted to help.
I began implementing the framework for their React Native support, pulling together their swift and kotlin bindings and bridging it to typescript for mobile hybrid applications. Within a month the module was finished and fully integrated into @npub1yvj…0z5d.
It was an absolute treat to work with the Breez team and I continued to contribute, next figuring out how to package their bindings for Go and being more involved in reviewing PRs.
To my absolute surprise and joy, three months ago I was offered a developer position at Breez.
It's been a whirlwind of a year and I'm so excited to start next week at Breez!
