Then we need to make a comprehensive plan on how to fix it. Because it’s fixable. It’s just that no one cares/has the money to focus on it. It requires a comprehensive safety team to execute, and that team needs to have a system that ensures it remains incorruptible and unbiased. That takes time and money that masto never had. #Compton, #LosAngeles in the middle of a lightweight uprising because #ICE attempted to invade their city and illegally kidnap local civilians. They are fighting back. He gave me one of my first, truly safe jobs and opportunities as a PA for a project he was working on years ago. He made it a point to say “I want to see more Black women in this industry…” and then proved it with his actions. I got to hug him last year after not seeing him for sometime. We spoke via iPad. Sometimes I really think I cannot handle this place anymore, and the internet in general. To see the dismantling of the webs over the last 30 years has been hard to watch.
Then I pop off randomly with something that sits deep in my heart, and you guys immediately remind me why I still love the internets: just trying to find likeminded community.
Still don’t know how to manage this. After all this time. Other than to tell you how grateful I am. That you even care. Thank you.

Libertarians are just babybigots taking their first steps into fascism. Unrealistic ideas of independence and individualism in a world that thrives on community. Usually because the future nazi is mad they have to share resources with others, usually of a different background and race.
Libertarianism is just a gateway drug to full on authoritarian nazism. It always was. That includes Ayn Rand’s weird self.

But yeah. As a publishing nerd, this is reading like “If you are not a part of a PRO or have a clear Publishing situation, Bandcamp will take your publishing revenue. No, we do not have to explain.”
