DeepComputing is showing an early demo of the new RISC-V Mainboard at the RISC-V Summit in Munich next week. This board uses a StarFiveTech JH7110 with SiFive RISC-V CPU cores. DeepComputing is also working closely with the teams at Ubuntu and Fedora on Linux support.

Note: "This is the early support for the Framework 13 AMD and still does require binary blobs but at least this is progress being made and better than the default proprietary BIOS. It's an experimental Coreboot port being worked on by various AMD firmware engineers and other stakeholders as an unofficial project."

The original Micron N28 flash we used in our high-speed Storage Expansion Card is end of life, so we've moved over to SK Hynix V6 flash and are calling the new cards (2nd Gen). Sustained write speeds are similar on the new 1TB, but faster on the new 250GB.

Update to xz issue, for Fedora 40 Beta.
"ISO as released had the old version. The bad update was only there for a few days in testing and is pulled. There's a minor caveat that there's a chance that some mirrors may have synced the bad updates-testing but not updated to remove it. Unlikely, but possible. I would recommend disabling the updates-testing repo before updating as a precaution."
