TBH I use channel strips just for spicing up amen breaks and any one free or paid gets the job done. There is no magical one that is better or worse honestly. I def bought into the hype when I got that one. Took me a year to realize for the most part the plugin industry is kind of scam save a few exceptions.

I grew up in America and I explicitly remember schools not treating computers as a real future or marketable skill in the early 2000's. More as a consumer funtoy no different than a Nintendo 64.
I think this same logic is being used about AI but I've seen it take a huge leap in abilities in just one year. Is it flawed, of course, all technology is flawed. However it will continue to be refined and it's not going away no matter how much people hate it. I think the correct prevailing attitude should be to learn about it and adapt to the future.

They gave that one away for free too, about 3 months ago. I've been collecting their free promo plugins like pokemon. That Oxide Tape mastering plugin is legit too, it puts a nice polish on compressed amen breaks that feels like magic or something.
I have not given this company a single dime, the only thing I own of theirs is the UA Volt 2 DAC which the owner of this instance @dcc graciously gifted me a year ago
