Breaking: 12 people killed and many wounded in a terror attack on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, where two male attackers suddenly started shooting with long arms. One attacker has been killed, one was wounded and is in hospital.
The attached footage shows a civilian male disarming another person which is likely one of the attackers.
The attack came as hundreds of jews were in the area, celebrating Hanukkah.

Today, September 15, is Battle of Britain Day.
On this day in 1940, Nazi Germany attacked Britain with two massive waves of aircraft, because Hitler thought he could achieve air superiority in the British skies.
But his operation was a complete failure, and the Nazis lost 60 aircraft.
This finally led Hitler to cancel his invasion of The British Isles. Of course he did not admit that, but postponed his "Operation Sea Lion".
They all have their "Special Military Operation".
They all fail.

Denmark has not found it relevant to spend tax payer money on a large military base on Greenland. Instead Denmark gives a yearly grant of 620 million dollars to the 57,000 Greenlanders, which is spent on everything in the Greenland budget including having free healthcare, free access to universities in Denmark AND a well functioning police force.
Vance now abuses that fact to claim that Denmark has not kept Greenland safe, and therefore Greenland should become American.

I feel sad for every US citizen who really wanted the US to move forward and are now seeing everything falling apart.
And I especially feel sad for the elders — people who remember how fascism brought the world to a breaking point in World War II. People who do not just say “never again” but feel it with every bone in their body. They recognize what the MAGA movement is. They know what is comming.
I hope, Trump can be stopped with peaceful means before it is too late. The people deserve it.

In the eternal quest for increased revenue, YouTube is introducing a feature where rich people can like videos more than poor people, and I am about to throw up.
It is called the hype button, and it is similar to the like button. But where likes are democratic, hypes are for pay, allowing rich kids to add as many hypes as they can afford to videos.
This is Elon’s enshittification of Twitter all over again.

Nothing scares me more than the fact, that European politicians have sleepwalked into the largest security problem in European history.
The entire European security architecture is based on the premise, that the US is lead by someone trustworthy.
The internet monitoring is run by the NSA. All operating systems are American. Most military equipment, the F-35's — even the EU nukes are made in the USA.
And now this entire security foundation is ultimately controlled by the gangster president.

That is the difference:

Went by train to Copenhagen this weekend, and that gave me a chance to try the awesome restrooms at the Copenhagen railway station.
There is no gender debate here, because when you go through to payment system you arrive at 20 unisex toilets — each one in their own room.
No one is questioning your gender identity, because here, everyone is just a human being.
I hope every city on the planet follow this great example.
It just works.

Lula, the president of Brazil, was elected by a 51 percent majority of Brazilian voters in spite of all the attempts by Bolsonaro to prevent free and and fair elections. He now wants to prevent Bolsonaro from orchestrating a coup through X.
Putin was elected president because of his own success with oppressing all opposition in Russia. And he cracks down on all social media to suppress the free will of the Russian people.
There is a stark difference.

Ukraine has now suffered 901 days of war.
I am fully convinced, this war would have ended much sooner, had the allies really wanted it to end.

Imagine if on D-Day 1944, voters in many allied countries began fancying nationalist politicians who did not want to fight Hitler.
We are at Ukraine's D-Day. Just like those armies went ashore in Normandy, all the weapons are now finally arriving in Ukraine. And if we keep helping Ukraine, they will defeat the dictator.
But then voters across the free world begin to vote for leaders who do not care.
