Village People (probably Victor Willis): "...we believe that music is to be performed without regard to politics..."
Last year they (again likely Willis) told people to stop calling YMCA a gay anthem, and to "get your minds out of the gutter"
Willis probably isn't gay, the band was formed around him, he co-wrote hits, then he left. Then sued the rest of the band and got it so only he could use the name "Village People".
Now he's playing for Trump.

Reading a bit more about them, despite Rose and Briley, it looks to me like being gay was secondary, it was a concept group, that then used gay culture as marketing. Not only that but marketing gay culture as entertainment for straight people.

For a moment I thought you were suggesting TikTok was good for finding meaningful relationships (of various types) but looks like you just had a narrow sphere of mutuality with a group of people.

I think anger is a secondary emotion, so does my therapist, and a lot of other professionals.
I have yet to find an instance of feeling angry, where there isn't something else going on underneath, usually the basic feeling is not feeling safe, and the emotion is fear.
