I really love finding and riding unique types of #bikes - if I had an identifiable special interest it would be bikes. Information about bikes. Riding different types of bikes. Mechanical parts, everything.
I found a “golf bag bike” on marketplace for sale for 400 dollars. I have absolutely no practical use for it as I don’t golf, but it would make an excellent tractor bike.
Not the bike in the ad - but this thing looks so cool.

@nprofile…3kq5 pair programming works well for me. However it can’t be just one person “driving” imo. You cooperatively work together either on fixes, features, or building / infra. Could be all different parts but you’re solving problems in the same project and helping each other.
That’s been something I’m never would have guessed I loved because I feel the same way you do. It is by far my fave way to work as long as it’s w good people and an interesting problem.

Ground beef prices as of today US Arizona:
93% lean: 12$/LB
80% lean: 9$/LB
My mom in US Oregon reported today:
93% lean: 5$/LB
Not the same store, the store in Oregon also locally sources its beef, pork, and a selection of poultry too. Produce is seasonally local.
Funny part is that store (Sherm’s Thunderbird) is a “poor people” grocery store, but really it’s a regional chain that’s selling good affordable food.

@nprofile…3kq5 I think given how porous fdm printed stuff is it’s just not food safe as it’s a bacteria breeding ground.
Then again, pet-g is what many single use drink containers are made from. So maybe that?
When I tried researching this a couple years ago people were just saying “no” about everything and the only real info was about industrial process and materials.
So probably do at your own risk

Dot com as you said, other hilarious tech events, even the housing collapse and then ‘rona. Current state coupled with AI pressing the gas and generalized civil unrest, it feels different this time.

Also trying to figure out if I should run this externally or internally to a team’s infra, where it’s doing important work.
Should it just be a deployment? Do I need to create flux resources? It could just be a lambda. What really is the footprint for something like openfaas?
You know just a lot of perfectly regular things to dream about.

I still think it’s a cool idea but I have zero knowledge or expertise with any.. well game dev stuff.

@nprofile…3kq5 I mostly watch people on twitch/youtube myself. It’s a really high skill floor.
For me though I just started thinking about it as each run is what it is. Maybe I won’t find water, or get stabbed, or killed by zombies. Or maybe I’ll find someone cool to talk to and have a little adventure, before I still die 😎

Another toot just reminded me.. I’m getting back into #dayz . I have hundreds of hours on the original mod but everyone I played with stopped playing when standalone became a thing. The game went through a lot of growing pains but really seems to be in a great spot right now.
So I’m learning all the new systems. Getting used to the controls again. Melee is rough as hell with zombies, but it’s all a rhythm and muscle memory.
There also so many new modded maps that are really well done.

Anyone have suggestions for a #mobile that can run any versions of #linux #mobilelinux ? I had some research that’s many years old now and have lost touch. My goal is really to just have a phone shaped device I can use to browse the web/mastodon instead of using my ios based device.
