Because Lightning is (realistically) ONLY usable in a custodial manner, and because no vendors want to deal with Bitcoin's volatility.
Businesses will soon be adopting USDC bacause of it's financial advantages over tradfi and because they are familiar with the dollar, AND (unlike Bitcoin) because it is rapidly being sanctioned by the US government (genius / clarity).
So the flow will be Monero to USDC (or perhaps Zano's USDCx).
But lightning is a massive, complicated, centralized fail that is only being supported by Bitcoin capture fiends like the Jack off twins, Dorsey & Mallers.

If you want donations to flow, you need to show us that you have put on events in the past. You should also take advantage of Bitcoin's public ledger as a record for how your funds might have been spent. Currently, your last (and only) donation looks like it was back in November for ₿0.00021. It looks like it came from a mixer (no problem there), but then it went right back into a mixer (not a good look for a charity).
Most charities make their financials public. And, really, anyone you pay for services should be happy to take credit for helping out. At least show us the receipts, literally.

2015 - 2024 - Hijacked by commercial enterprise and forced into "digital gold" status. This ends the whitepaper description of Peer To Peer Elecronic CASH.
2024 - 2025 - Bitcoin Core (still funded by Blockstream) continues it's efforts to destroy Satoshi's invention under the guise of mainstream adoption. Bitcoin isn't being adopted as P2P money. It is being adopted as a replication of the monetary system it was designed to provide an escape from. 99% of Lightning transactions are CUSTODIAL.
NOTE: since 2015 ish bitcoin has been marketed as digital gold, because of it's limited supply. But! It's true value comes from it ability to transact without a 3rd party. Lightning essentially traps users into using a third party.

Sometimes pushing against the status quo is needed. Like when the popular decentralized, peer to peer "alternative" is being adopted by the machine it was designed to supplant.
#BTC gets an ETF, #Monero gets delisted.
Yes, BTC (Blockstream Token Coin) has been coopted and does not serve as a Peer to Peer Electronic Cash that does not need a third party.
As a person promoting adoption, I know you run into plenty of complexities with LN. I know the poorer areas you service cannot truly afford on-chain fees.
There are better options. One, as metioned above, is Monero. The other is actually bitcoin. It is called Bitcoin Cash and it too shares the bitcoin genesis block with that famous anti-establishment quote.
Please, think what you will about the above, but just as I come back to, and test, the BTC / LN environment, you owe it to yourself, and those you teach adoption to, to become familiar with the true peer to peer bitcoin, #BCH.
