I'm trying to find an old meme poking fun at those who poke fun at "bikini armor". It depicted a women in such armor carrying a lance. Some unseen commenters say that the armor does nothing to cover her. She hears, and she immediately turns to them in a stance with her weapon that covers all of her weak spots. I'm going through my LSDJ versions and installing samples into the ROMs. I have some (mostly outdated pony stuff) that I would like to swap out for other samples from anime, video games, speeches, etc. Any ideas (with links)? Because of the limited space and the hardware constraints of the Game Boy (the samples are heavily bit-crushed), I'll have to be very picky, but I want to know what you guys think would make for good samples.
To clarify: The technical aspects of this are easy for me. I just need some fun samples to put on my DMG. Any cute anime girl noises or fun video game SFX or profound sermon sound bytes are fine.
Clear audio for the samples is best.

I would argue that Gen 3 had some ambition and creativity behind it. I chalk up most of the problems to "GameFreak can't program". Gen 2 had an outsider (Iwata) to clean up all the sloppy code to make room for Kanto. You would think that Nintendo would throw a few decent programmers at the world's biggest franchise, but I guess not.

Anyone have that screenshot of the dude talking about how he would apply to a job, give it three days, then call and say something like "yeah, I was told to schedule my interview today". Totally play it up like you got a callback already; pretend like your foot is already in the door. And it was successful. Dude spent months never getting callbacks or getting altogether ghosted; he tried doing this and he had like 6 interviews within a week. Out of 11 or 12 tries, he only got called out on it once by some she-bat in HR who was the only person in the department.
Ring any bells? It was in the last week or so that I saw it posted.

I'm perfectly fine with not ever being that frightened of something other than God ever again. That said, I very much enjoy watching older films like that for two reasons:
1. The imagination that goes into the monster and special effects designs look more real and creative than ANYTHING done in CG. It's more inspiring to me.
2. I enjoy learning how the film staff achieved certain effects. It, too, more inspiring to me than a few clicks and drags on a computer screen.

My dad taped it for me when I was a kid. I read a watered down version in school, and he wanted to show me a film adaptation of it. I was far too young to see something like that, and it was the first major film scare of my life. I wasn't that scared again till I saw Carpenter's The Thing.

4. What of non-African peoples? American Indians? East Indians? Arabs? The various east Asian and southeast Asian peoples? What are they and what is their relationship with God? Can such people be saved and possess the imago Dei?

you certainly made a great effort to say very little of significance. Most of what you say reads far too much into the text (especially about the Nephilim), and your errors multiply from there.
Allow me to make a case in point:
You say that Noah being "perfect in his generations" means he was racially pure. This is not what the original word means. The word translated as "generations" in the phrase you quote is not a matter of genetics but of time. In fact, the verse containing the quoted phrase uses two different words which are both translated "generation(s)": תּוֹלְדָה meaning genealogical descent, and דּוֹר meaning an era or the time span of a particular generation of people. The latter is the one used when describing Noah's righteousness. Noah was not good because he was "pure of race"; the passage says he was blameless among the other humans living at the same time he was living.

I've been struggling with this a bit myself with writing. Two things have helped me:
1. I'm a Christian, so I consider all creative endeavors to be practice for when God has me do larger projects after my time on Earth.
2. Many of my favorite authors are people who are and were unpopular, especially in the mainstream. Edmund Spenser, George MacDonald, Lord Dunsany, Clark Ashton Smith, and William Allen are only known in literary or very niche circles, but their respective contributions to literature are broader today than most people realize. Consider that the Beowulf poet, the Gawain poet, and the Rood poet are each anonymous, but their works are widely read by English scholars. Beowulf spent a good five centuries in obscurity before someone rediscovered it in a noble's personal library, and now it's often required reading for any serious English scholar. My point is that your work may not be recognized immediately or even in your lifetime. The point is to leave something timeless or fun or insightful for people to ponder and to look to for inspiration long after you're gone from this world.

Fedibros, I need advice:
I personally abhor companies like Amazon and Google and reject their services in as many ways as possible. I deleted all of my Google everything and never buy from Amazon nor its affiliates (e.g. Whole Foods).
That said, I plan on peddling my sword&sorcery story to some mags. This is a more extreme example, but one of them, Crimson Quill Quarterly, is exactly the kind of outlet I seek in terms of content (S&S, small and open to amateurs, >10,000 words). However they only accept submissions through a Gmail account and they only publish on Amazon.
The boycott is a matter of principle to me. I want to see companies like Jewgle and Amazon burn to the ground (figuratively, of course). But I'm also curious to know this: if I see an e-mail address that doesn't have a gmail domain name, what's the probability that it's still hosted on Google's servers? Is it all Google (or Yahoo or Microsoft)? Or are there actual services outside of those and those of more secure companies like Tuta and Proton?
Should I bite the bullet and submit to a mag which publishes with Amazon and will host my stuff on Google's and Amazon's servers?
Or should I stick to my guns and try to find a publication who likewise abstains from such ne'er-do-well (((companies)))?
