Thanks! I tried to follow the steps using a lenovo mini computer ive got running ubuntu. i was just basically copy and pasting the commands in but it seems to not be working at step 2.a. just cooked up a batch of shishito peppers from the garden. used a skillet i had made burgers in earlier that day. it was delicious! they were very pungent when cooking and also seemed thinner skinned than store bought shishito peppers. should yield another batch in a few days! 😋

i believe its either:
the payer's node is trying to pay the htlc but it gets paid by a different node ( unlikely).
the payer's node is offline and the htlc expires without the payer's node being online. this is the more likely instance as wallets like blixt, mutiny, zeus node in the phone wallets go offline at times.
both will cause a force close and not just for the sending and receiving nodes but can also fuck routing nodes causing their channels to close too. this is why there are people that believe zaplocker is harmful to the network ( and i agree).

completely true in America too. if you have ur corn in cold storage, you need to have somehow liquidated that corn to dollars, and had that money season in a bank for at least two statement cycles ( roughly 75 days). otherwise funds to close wont be acceptable. if your shit is sitting with a custodian like coinbase though you can probably use it but will need to liquidate to dollars ofc. this assumes you are getting conventiomal financing with the purchase.
