non fiction : "the Battersea poltergeist" , "Uncanny" and "the Witch farm" make for a good run, they sometimes avoid the obvious explanations to make an investigation more dramatic (and to me some bits are hammy) but it's entertaining enough
Fiction wise : Julian Simpson's "Mythos" drama is a good lead into his reworking of lovecraft in the multi part *Lovecraft Investigations". All well worth a listen if you have not tried them.
I'll think about if I have any others, I'm enjoying the recommendations here too!

Had to perform an impromptu caterpillar rescue this morning. This eyed hawk moth caterpillar was heading across the pavement straight for a busy road. I managed to carefully relocate it on the other side in the hedgerow.
What a wonderful encounter, set me up for the day :blobhearteyes:

I was on a short walk and spotted a dragonfly at rest in some brambles. I realised I could edge in to the bush and get some nice close up photos by leaning over. I did this and set off back putting my hand in my pocket to retrieve something.
I felt a soggy squish and pulled out my hand to find I had managed to dislodge a very ripe blackberry into my pocket while taking the pics. It was now all over my hands, pocket and everything else in there! A real jamtastrophe :blobfoxcrylaugh:

This wonderful gall on a wild rose bush is starting to turn red, I'll hopefully get to see it in full crimson colours soon.
