I hate that by default #macOS hides scroll bars at rest. I mean, look at that settings tab in #FaceTime. It appears to show everything, but there's more if you scroll down which isn't obvious because scroll bars are hidden.
The fix, for you and future Carlo: System Settings → Appearance → "Show scroll bars" → set to "Always"

In early 2001, we seriously pondered relocating from #Germany to the #USA because I had received a pretty great job offer in CO. It didn't pan out, and I was sad for a while.
Then 9/11 happened, and I watched the US go off the rails. And that train wreck never stopped, they just kept adding wagons.
I didn't know much but I knew that Bush's "Just buy more shit" was not the right answer to the people's question, "What can we do?".

#NotebookLM is blowing my mind quite a bit. I've uploaded a German-language PDF of a finance/investment magazine article dealing with savings strategies. And the podcast-style audio file it produced is just 🤯
It translated colloquial terms from the article (like "Pantoffel-Portfolio") into English (boring) but then added some human-level banter to the audio file, dealing with the original term and its translation, and I can't even
This feels like more than the sum of its parts, which is wild.

True, but it's AppleScript capabilities were deviating a lot from Chromium-standard, and felt half-baked – so I pushed Arc support to past-1.0 territory
Err, I forgot the link in my last response: https://actions.work/browser-actions I need to dogfood this, and Arc isn't supported (yet)

Everything is shit these days, isn't it. I think I've found an insane workaround for my most pressing Vivaldi issue, for now, so… *big sigh*
At some point you gotta wonder if it would be a worthwhile endeavour to set up a global coop of sorts which makes a non-controversial browser ;)

Man, Vivaldi on macOS is death by a thousand paper cuts. PWA's suppress `window.alert()`, and now ⌘T randomly creates not one but two new tabs, while ⌘W randomly closes one or two. 😕
