I did this about 3-5 years ago and had about 10 people join me. Now, they are even more afraid to do it.
In fact, I seconds ago, had someone walk by saying "move your shit, fuck your tent".
Why do people think they are more privileged to protest than others?
Every day, of the 19 I've been here, I fully expect to be shot or murdered in some way because homeless people are so less than human to others.

Hempseeds hold radiation? Didn't know that part. At least the place we SHOULD be growing it for a village we have been working on getting, that shouldn't be a problem. The soil does need to be cleaned but I don't think that is one of the problems with it.
We would need to test the first crop, I think.

The silence is deafning. Always hearing about this country or that one, this group or that one but the silence continues for #homeless people.
(Amendment I) Sorry, you don't have the right to assemble in public space even in protest because your homeless.
(Amendment IV) Sorry, you don't have the right to be served a search warrant when we steal your only way to stay warm and dry.
(Amendment VIII) Sorry, your under arrest for trying to survive in public spaces in the middle of winter/heatwave after the city/state/federal has taken everything from you and there is absolutely no place to go to get out of the weather.
A short time ago, #Trump decided that 770,000 people have no US Constitution rights when he declared it #Illegal2BHomeless across the entire country. Not only do we now have to be on the lookout for city cops, shariffs, state cops, National Guards that also forgot the oath we say when joining the US Military, we have to be looking for every day haters who won't hesitate to kill us for simply not having a paid for place to live.
But the silence continues.

Portland Oregon has a place called Hazelnut Grove. A tiny house village that doesn't get anything from any level of government. The neighborhood chips in for everything they need.
I've been working with someone to get something like it going but we want to go to the ultimate level. Completely self supported. Nothing from the outside and outlawing all CRUD oil products.
Tiny houses built with hemp creat even.

I don't know if you read my bio but I swore to defend the US Constitution in 1990. If I was convicted of just one of those crimes he was, I would not have gone to prison, I would have been in front of a firing squad.

For many years, it has been moving to that. I first saw it when I became #homeless with cities making it #Illegal2BHomeless and now its has become a federal level assault on 770,000 people.
That person living on a sidewalk? I've personally counted 4 amendments violated every time they get swept up like the trash some people think of us as.
1st, 4th, 5th and 8th... But it doesn't matter to most people. As a veteran, it really makes me sick how people ignore us and are okay with treating humans like trash.
