The best model for a relationship that I'm aware of:
Is one where both people recognize that the relationship serves as a source of life force that is exponentially greater than what either people could produce individually.
These people pursue closeness with one another.
Think about souls twining like the double helix pattern of DNA getting closer and closer but never touching.
And as they get closer more life force is produced. And then both people are able to take that life force and use it as energy to cultivate greater individuality.
To be more aligned and successful in their own individual pursuits. One of the best parts about this is that the pursuit of closeness and intimacy emerges both people's unconscious wounds that are afraid of intimacy and closeness. Usually those wounds who have been conditioned to see love as a scarce resource that could be taken away.
So in this pursuit of closeness and intimacy and exponentially greater life force both people are responsible for acknowledging and having the skills to transmute the unconscious wounds that come up in the process so closer and closer to produce energy healing unconscious wounds in the process, use that energy and life force to apply and invest into your individual pursuits. Use the surplus energy from those individual pursuits to invest back into the relationship to produce exponential returns

We are the universe experiencing itself.

“What is this?”

“It’s a leaf!”

“No… it’s not.”
Confused, you’d ask,
“What do you mean?”
“Leaf” is just a word—
A label we use to describe the abstract concept of a leaf.
But what is it really?
Plant tissue?
And what is that made of?
Protons, neutrons, electrons.
So a rock and a leaf are the same?
And those? Quarks and energy, right?
Exactly. That’s what *everything* is made of.
The divisions we see are just in our minds.
Maybe you’d say:
“We can’t just look at the world and call everything quarks.”
We need names to navigate, to communicate.
Yes—but those names are *not reality itself*.
Everything is the same substance…
Everything, except “nothing.”
But even “nothing” is a concept we invented
To mean “non-existence.”
Maybe you’re confused now,
Asking how nothing doesn’t exist,
And yet, no “thing” truly exists either.
Right.
So the entire universe,
Everyone who’s ever lived,
Everything and nothing,
Are all just *the same thing*.
Words cannot capture it.

One thing I’m grateful for about being born in a small ranch town is the ability to pick tomatoes and create soups and sauces with just a few herbs and some salt. My grandmother always said you don’t need anything else—love is the main ingredient for a good meal. My childhood was spent going with my grandfather to gather the harvest and then cooking with my grandmother, creating from scratch what we now buy in a supermarket… We’re losing the ability to make love the main ingredient.
