I'm just not very convinced on the whole monsters vs. The Good Guys bit. Mostly on the account of not seeing what a WW2 Allied power would do under similar war conditions. Remember also that victors write history. It's more objective than the times of "and then we vanquished the forbidden tribe that literally spawned from beneath the ground because the heavens helped us", but we're still the same meatbag dipshits.
