I disagree. IMO, if AI is used even 1% to create or enhance an image it should be watermarked.
The same as back in the day we should have been indicating air brushing ,that said, discounting the political/social implications of manipulating the masses though the use of even a "little" AI, here is one of my reasons why everything should be watermarked:
Over my lifetime (I am *old* !) researchers discovered, and many books have been written, about the emotional problems over body image women* and little girls* have had to try and overcome, and now are experiencing.
AI is now used to produce and enhance; images are manipulated, so as to create the "perfect female" and it is putting pressure on women to meet impossible standards and expectations.
Today, little girls even before puberty, want plastic surgery and fillers so they can have a perfect image--they and women are mutilating their body in order to meet ridiculous standards of beauty.
And don't even get me started on the topic of eating disorders
* I am hearing the same is beginning to happen to men/boys as well.

Every account I found on that instance, except for one...and there is a long list--has the same jumble of characters, possibly a bot farm. So I ma going to block the entire instance

I hear that and feel the same. It has been forced upon us. No ask for consent.

but so many articles are now "authored" by AI, and even some news outlets use AI images. How are we supposed to navigate our way to find truth?
The potential consequences are frightening (political and society) not only for those sucked into the AI vortex but the rest who are not.

95 grams(2/3 cup) of Sprouted mung beans
OR
10 grams (2 teaspoons) of Baked beans in tomato sauce
Does that make sense?

I have to pay out $25 dollars per ride so although that severely limits my shopping trips and sometimes medical appts it's better than not having an option.
Free service would indeed benefit everyone, including businesses.

That tells me most Canadians have yet to learn how to think outside the box, and our governments need to step up and provide better public transportation.
I used to think the same until I quit driving. I live in a rural area without family to take me shopping. Fortunately there are buses set up for seniors and disabled--it requires my planning ahead. It is limited to 5 days a week-no weekends but it is doable. There is no reason why something like this can't be set up for for most folk, including commuters..
