I have a question, since I've been using the COSMIC-based install of Pop!_OS 24.04 since the alpha stage on a spare laptop.
Do I simply update the laptop with $ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade to get to the stable release version; or do I have to reinstall Pop!_OS to get to the Epoch 1 update?

Regardless, since the Pixel 7 series devices, I've noticed that GrapheneOS is able to release stable production versions of its OS to install within 2 weeks of public store availability, if not less than 1 week. (The only recent exception that comes to mind was the Pixel 8a - something about the upstream Google source only releasing the previous Android QPR for the 8a, but it all worked out once upstream 8a code caught up.)

I figure that there'll be more clarity once all Pixel 9 series devices have been officially released to the public. The 9 and 9 Pro XL will be released August 22nd, while the 9 Pro and the 9 Pro Fold will be released on September 4th.
