"Icelandic oligarchy"? Sounds like an oxymoron to me who was in #Iceland for two weeks in 2012 as a tourist, I experienced it as the most egalitarian country I've ever been to.
I don't doubt what you're talking about, but if any country on earth can get rid of their olygarchy, then 🇮🇸 can.

Another aspect of that question: the privacy conformance of web sites depends on the privacy conformance of the browser it runs on. Not all browsers might be the same privacy-protective over time. After all, browsers technically are just apps.

To what extent holds this true when the user rejects any permission an app requests, such as location, camera, microphone, your contacts, storage etc? And if the app refuses to work when rejecting permissions, without a reasonable reason, I uninstall the app.

Es fehlt der Aspekt, dass Kernfusion, wenn in großem Maßstab implementiert, durch ihre enorme Abwärme ein relevanter Faktor der Erderwärmung würde.
Ein derzeitiges Kernkraftwerk, das 1 GW elektrische Leistung erbringt, erhitzt gleichzeitig mit 2 GW die Flüsse und letztlich die Biosphäre. Ob ein Fusionskraftwerk ein besseres Verhältnis von Abwärme zu elektrischer Ausbeute schafft, ist völlig ungewiss.

Ich kann mich der Aufregung in diesem Ausmaß nicht anschließen. Transparenz kann doch nicht schaden. Dann weiß ich halt, wie viel Cent von meinen Steuern an die Omas gegen Rechts gehen, und bin stolz darauf. Und wenn dann SPD, Linke oder Grüne klein anfragen, wieviel Euro von meinen Steuern an VDA oder Bauernverband gehen, weiß ich, wie sehr ich mich ärgern muss.
