Compared to the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16E is $200 less has:
- No ultra-wide camera (0.5x), macro photography mode, or spatial photos/video
- No MagSafe support, just non-magnetic Qi charging
- No touch controls on the Action button
- Apple's in-house C1 modem that has not proven itself yet
- No mmWave 5G
- Wi-Fi 6 instead of Wi-Fi 7
- No Dynamic Island and slightly bigger bezels
Am I missing anything? Why would anyone get this over a discounted iPhone 15? AI is not a phone seller.

I don't know where a $600 iPhone 16E makes sense in a world where last year's flagship iPhones are frequently on sale for that price or lower, especially through carriers. The new ImageShare is out! It's the best way to share images and videos from low-end and legacy devices, supporting browsers as old as Netscape 4.0 and Internet Explorer 5. It also has game title detection for images from the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

I set up a mid-2010 Mac Mini as the perfect 'retro' Mac, with a super-fast OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard installation for running PowerPC and early Intel apps, and a hacked macOS 14 Sonoma partition for newer software.

It's pretty cool that the Nintendont homebrew app can not only load GameCube games from a USB drive on my Wii, but also emulate a GameCube controller with a Classic Controller through a Wii Remote. I can play local multiplayer GC games even though I only have one real GC controller! #wii #nintendo #retrogaming
