Quick question, and it may sound silly but there is a purpose.
When I post something here, a poem for example, it is discoverable in a cursory internet search?
Here’s why I ask. I have a website that I’ve used for years to deposit poems I’m writing, many of them in draft form. When I eventually finish that poem and submit it to magazines and journals, sometimes they are rejected because they are considered “previously published”. Uploading the poem to my blog counts as publication for some of these magazines.
As I transition more of my writing to nostr, I began to wonder about this. If I published a poem on nostr, even as a draft, would it be discoverable by an agency when they check to see if the work is already on the web?
I want to get my work out there and published, but I’m starting to feel like having a web address is a hindrance.

So far, it’s the website replacement. I found a place to submit my writing, Stacker News, and I’ve received great feedback from the one poem I published.
So it’s a mind shift issue really. I’m still thinking in fiat terms, and think I need a website. But everything here is interconnected.

This is true.
I started down the Bitcoin rabbit hole almost a year ago, and I eventually heard about #nostr.
I did sit quiet for a while. I read feeds and didn’t really understand what anyone was talking about.
Then I started talking and figuring out what this is for. It’s a neighborhood. You can sit on your porch and watch everyone else interact, share art, and create value.
Or, you can leave your comfortable seat and get in the mix. There’s just so much freedom out there.
