But that's not what you're suggesting the european union should use, is it? Your professional server suite is, as far as i am aware, not open source.
Which is fine, in theory, but it does seem a little odd when you are campaigning against signal at the same time, who are fully open source.
At the end of the day, i think that arguing against Signal is not going to help your position. I am entirely on board if you say Whatapp or Telegram, or any of those.
But Signal is not a project that is opposed to very high levels of security and i am not the only person who finds it in bad taste that you keep mentioning them in the same sentence with Whatsapp, no matter how you put it.

The article sure suggests that. And i have yet to see how your enterprise solution prevents phishing. That does seems out of your scope and relates more to how well the people in question were trained in this particular matter.
Additionally i think the only way europe will stay independent is if we trust and fund fully open source software.

https://servo.org is a real alternative to established browser engines. They are working hard to make sure we do not have to rely on multi-billion dollar companies.
