@nprofile…klgm I see where you are coming from, and no, I do not have an AZC nearby (my neighborhood is protesting against an accomodation for minors), but I still feel that we should welcome people who flee their homes.
The fact that we deliberately make it so inhuman and horrible is our own fault, while we clamor that immigrants are the problem, I feel we are creating our own problems by not accomodating people who've fled their homes.

Vraagje:
Draaien jullie een NAS altijd met software van de maker, of gooien jullie er gewoon je eigen server-OS op?
Ben aan het kijken naar een nieuwe NAS (8GB ram / RAID 1) en aangezien ik extern al yunohost draai, lijkt het eigenlijk niet raar om NAS gewoon als *nix server te draaien.
Mijn NAS is voornamelijk als backup + streaming eigen spullen.

En Leonieke, wat doe je dan eigenlijk met al die borduren die je de afgelopen jaren hebt gemaakt?
Eh, ja, die zitten (al dan niet netjes) opgerold in diverse theedoeken.
Bij sommige borduren heb ik een ontvanger in mijn hoofd, maar bij anderen? Ik vond ze leuk om te maken, maar na een paar jaar is het wel duidelijk dat ik er verder niets mee doe.

Live liegen op tv zou minstens 72 uur talkshowverbod moeten opleveren en niet meer uitnodigingen. Volgens het initiatief Zendtijd in campagnetijd mag de BBB disproportioneel vaak aanschuiven. Talkshowredacties vinden hun kijkcijfers kennelijk belangrijker dan de consequenties van hun keuzes voor de samenleving.

Thanks to a tip from @nprofile…gqp6, I have cancelled my audible subscription and I have created an account with libro.fm.
As I listen to audiobooks alsmost exclusively in English, any Dutch services do not cover my audio/listening needs and wishes.
To check if libro.fm was a good fit for me, I compared my wishlist at audible (currently at about 30 titles) with the libro.fm catalogue: apart from 1 title it was a complete fit.
Next up: copying over my wishlist from one to the other, check out the specific membership options (probably going for a 2 credit/month version again) and get ready to listen.
