It was really hard. But for you? I'd do it a million times over. 🫡🤭

PfP has two creatures gazing in opposing directions. Went with right because from the perspective of the panda nearest to the camera, the gaze is to the right.

The horse is a pony from My Little Pony. It is associated with the Bronies. The E is the three arrows symbol. Its an antifascist symbol associated with the Iron Front.

@npub1y2r…kvzk
The link to the Defederation investigator (https//defed(.)xyz/) on https://about.iftas.org/library/denylist-resources/ goes to a scam site.
Looks like they forgot to renew their domain.

Wait what does multiple leading zeros even mean? How is that interpreted?

"If someone threatens to burn your house down unless you follow their orders, and then burns your house down anyways, you DON'T have to follow their orders!" - @npub1fdr…lvhs discussing Donald Trump, tariffs, and anti-circumvention laws.
What a great quote from Cory at #39C3.
Thank you to everyone putting on the event and especially the team handling livestreaming.
Edit: Re-listened and corrected a word.

I only ever hear this said of American soldiers. Why is it never said about Israeli or Russian soldiers?
There are other options besides signing up to the armed forces. I am sympathetic to this argument, I have been destitute myself. But idk, I don't think being desperate and destitute is enough.

Not to be that person, because obviously the overall point is super correct.
I just keep seeing people say that LLMs are inherently deterministic. But you can actually make LLMs deterministic. Set the temperature parameter to 0 and they will produce the same output each time in my experience.
That parameter determines how much to shift the softmax distribution that the final token is selected from. Set it to 0 and you always get the most likely token.

Anyone who wants to see a war in this country has not spent enough time grappling with the realities of what that would look like. I really hope everyone can walk back from the edge a bit.

"Would HCR [Heather Cox Richardson] or Robert Reich be posting to a Nazi site?"
The answer appears unequivocally yes. Their use of the Nazi site doesn't make it not a Nazis site by their mere precense. That's fucking nonsense.
