Yes they do good build quality. Tesla had some issues early on as I had that. Conflating issues that occurred early on that are resolved now is not valid.
I also hate Elon so there is that too. My feelings about all that and what shit Tesla pulled are clear. That said I’m not going to invent problems that don’t exist. That’s what is the problem with this discourse it’s like nobody seems to think engineering can improve.
There’s only one issue left that is not resolved long term on my car and thats the window regulators. The end.

So why did I build my own AI in C?

Yeah it made me some pretty impressive stuff. It was a 40khz band pass filter it made. It also reverse engineered a circuit board from the 80’s with the manual photos. Showed me how to do it and do built in safety switches.

I literally just bought 2.8 pounds of ammonium nitrate for cheap with no background check. I’d have to sort it of course to do that. No precaution, no warnings, nothing.
We only appear to resolve these problems. We don’t actually handle it. This is the problem with not having experts who know all this help write the rules. Oversight from hell happens.

Yes, being ag man. I used ammonium nitrate for fertilizing my 408 fruit trees. It’s not too hard to get clearance. But yeah you don’t want to mess with that. However I did discover I can buy ammonium nitrate that I could easily sort. 3D print a sorter and I could remove all but the prilled ammonium nitrate.
28% of 10lb is difficult but a determined person could still make a mess. We didn’t close all the loopholes. It’s very annoying to me actually.

Ok so @npub1mf9…40lf it’s just stick in ground and grow. There’s a huge issue with hemp growing in soils. It’s not the perfect plant this is made out to be. AG research I follow translation here.
But yeah like the seeds can just sink, once they sink they fail to germinate. If you do this you’ll end up with catastrophic results. Entire lost crop.
Hemp is cool but really the issues of growing it at scale are not pretty. This is talking the commercial uses you mentioned. However considering before we ever decided to plant hemp? The ag land was already used. So we have to consume food to grow hemp.
Cannabis on the other hand does not require near the space. Humans no matter who they are can only smoke or eat so much. So there’s a limited size market for it.

Yeah I mean it seems excessive but in reality the costs covered were not that high. The other costs were doing loans to companies from banks so credit didn’t stall. The liquidity crunch means there’s not enough money in the system. So that was loaned. The loans created more loans that created more loans. As a society of debt we really have a hard time reconciling how debt works. It’s all debt there’s no unlimited money, there’s no printer it’s all debt. Basically the government raising the debt ceiling is using BNPL. So obviously taxes are critically important to cover that.
When we think of money printer though, the dollars created by the process is exactly how our system has worked for all my life. Not much is going to change this the reality is we need to be more prudent about how we do it.
I could go into a long winded explanation of how taxes matter and don’t matter and what the taxes should be ideally vs what they are. Nobody quite likes me going on about taxes as it challenges conventional wisdom. That said we are not taxed enough as a society. The tax that is hated is unequal tax. That’s what is really the core problem.

It was only 380 billion in bad bank deposits. To cover all that with FDIC and get preferred stock to sell back at recovery. Like come on can’t tell me that math doesn’t check. Regardless the payment is not going to be that huge.

Never said the fed and mortgage are the same you implied that. I only said what historical norms of fed are. You can infer the rest by determination of what 60 percent of the loans are at way lower than the current fed rate. What the actual inflation rate is to those mortgages and more.
Maybe you need to stop implying things. I’m well aware what the fed rate is to current mortgage rates, high yield bond rates, treasury rates and even coupon rates for specific things like septic systems.
Fed sets rates and others follow in kind. It’s not exact science of course as you can see since fed started cutting rates the bonds and mortgages went up. Agreeing with my assessment that the economy is too overheated for cuts. But then again none of that matters I suppose.

Never said you had to, I’m just asking what’s ok about today’s rates not being at rational levels? The long term average is 7% for fed. We are at 4 and change.
So what is ok about this? How is this assessing risk? Interest rates are a reflection of risk. Risk is always there regardless of market conditions. See the mortgage that went bad. From a fire, that was liquidated at about 30% of the appraised value. The unknowns and the risk is there. This is not a perfect world.
You see it printed in the news now, people on verge of default from storms or fires of randomness. What happens to the lender who had the low rate.
How many loans can you have go bad before payback at each percentage of rate. What is the rate loans go bad at nominal level. What is the rate they go insolvent at extreme events. How often do extreme events happen for the life of the loan 30 years just say.
These are hard questions I know but what is rational about today.

I am being serious here too, I’ve done 19 million is my largest first mortgage. Do you understand what LTV is then the risk involved in appraisal? What that means to the asset? When you sell at auction and how that becomes profitable at what rates to guarantee you make money?
Just asking as I made 9% through 2008. So like what about this market has any sanity since 2013 when it went off the rails. Risk has not been assessed appropriately. It’s only material to the party investing to diversify with unknowns and irrational rates.
That all said, 15% in a day is minor for the asset valuation of total BTC when you see swings far harder in the overall market. Just the market cap is bigger. Moving money from place to place.
