I love the whole #cyberdeck concept but havent built one yet. However with all the #ageverification stuff going on right now i cant help thinking that if we're to stay online in the next few years the cyberdeck will be the only way. Everyone else will be enslaved by their #Apple #google devices but i dont intend to be part of that, and neither I suspect will you!

@nprofile…33pr based in the UK I can definitely agree with this. Speaking for the UK, if you read between the lines, all this stuff gave up the pretence being "for the children" long ago, it might be better if the Government just came out and told us they want to track our every move. The majority of people won't even look up from their doom-scrolling and at least those of us in a position to object will know what we're up against.

That was put in place quickly and proved very unpopular (with users) - hopefully "they" won't think of a similar option which could be included in devices without us even knowing.
