the issue is we can’t just rejoin no matter how much most of us want to. I am confident a few states would veto until such times as we had political stability. With Farage potentially the next PM they won’t go there as he’d just stop any talks.

indeed. Inequality is. What infuriates me is those fleeing war/famine/persecution arriving by boat to apply for asylum are tiny in numbers. All other immigration is approved and almost always requires a job offer. If the UKGov stopped all immigration and rejected all asylum claims tomorrow the lives of those shouting about immigrants would not improve and in some case their lives would be worse off.

I too think stagflation is more likely at this point. The USA has lost it trustworthiness, credibility and influence. Trump’s trying to take you right back, only the rest of us are moving forward and forging new trade partnerships and strengthening ties. I have no doubt BRICS will move towards replacing the US$ as the global reserve currency.

indeed. Israel is doomed. It may succeed in creating a greater Israel but at what cost? Israel has lost a whole generation of support in the USA. Same across Europe. They are our future politicians and they will not fund Israel. The majority of the world see them as genocidal maniacs. Israel will have few allies globally and be on their own. And displaced Palestine youth will be naturally planning revenge.

The Gov will never ever be able to prevent peaceful protest against proscribed groups that should never have been proscribed. There are lots of brave people willing to make a stand. What’s more, it’s making global headlines and making a mockery of the Gov and that is a powerful optic. Cooper has been left looking weak, pathetic and bought, not the strong Home Secretary she thought she was projecting. Globally she is being mocked and laughed at.

in this case Declassified have evidence the Israeli lobby, Embassy and Elbit Systems, the Israeli Arms Company did influence the U.K. Gov. It’s going to be fun watching Cooper proscribe ‘herself’ as the new direct action group have called themselves “Yvette Cooper”. On a wider scale, I think Gov’s are getting scared they can no longer control us and are terrified the electorate are turning to smaller and new political parties.

it has to be barely an existance. It is so upsetting. My paternal grandparents died in the Holocaust and I can’t help thinking about did they starve to death or were they murdered, just like those in Gaza. It disturbs me how the elderly and children and ill must be suffering and how parents and loved ones must be stressed beyond imagination trying to get food and medicines. Western leaders deserve to rot having enabled this.
