I think people have yet to wake up to just how amazing e-bikes are. I commute about 20 miles a day, using about 10 cents of electricity. (Mostly on safe trails.)

There are 50 no votes on proceeding to reconciliation. Murkowski, Rick Scott, Mike Lee have not voted. One more no vote stalls the bill.
Collins voted aye.

I don't think anybody's quite gotten to the full Mike Lee story. He rarely talks in hallways, now posts conspiratorial stuff regularly, went from 2016 warning against Trump to working with members of his team ahead of 1/6/21.
Lately a cheerleader for nixing NATO, Fed, impeaching judges, etc.

One of the billionaire-owned companies spending money to repeal the estate tax: William Goldring’s Sazerac Company Inc., which owns hundreds of brands including Southern Comfort. Goldring has an estimated net worth of $3.9 billion. At a top 40% tax rate, his heirs could potentially save a billion.
