Second time tags.pub came up with yet another account today, reporting issues with that, so the domain is blocked on my account now.
Annoying af, especially since we can follow hash tags already with ease and for quite some time now if we only wanted to. All what I've heard so far to justify turning those into accounts so that people can follow accounts instead just looked like utter bs to me, merely replicating functionality that exists already and comes without any intrusions whatsoever.
No request for comments, though. I have zero interest discussing the eventual merits of bots scraping our time lines. Do that on your own account and spare me the lecture. I'm not interested. Like - not *at all*.

I mean - Thomas over here had a point when he, coming from a solid leftist background, argued strongly against generational shaming as merely seeding division and in fact some of 'em boomers still are quite progressive, but I guess it's not that angle they're coming from and probably they wouldn't even understand, I guess.
Difficult anyway, because mostly it's a specific reactionary mindest stuck somewhere in the fifties or something like that - where climate change and running out of ressources were pretty much unheard of and all. At least that's what's usually implied.

I do at least remember that orange turd's rethoric clearly when he struggled to leave office. We've got bleak projections from oil market and logistics experts likely more than half a month ago that were looking like a desaster already, based on optimistic assumptions that are still nowhere near of becoming reality weeks later - with delays due to ships taking quite some time wrecking havoc on the markets by itself. No idea what they say now, but they've likely given up on projections and merely prepare to catch the best seats in order to watch the spectacle of the largest oil crisis to date unfold.
