I was thinking about this for Playground where the images you'll be able to create will increase in possibility. So much so that you'd be able to make anything that's quite believable but how would you tell the difference between real and synthetic—esp wrt the degree to which.

It seems kind of obvious that we will have to fingerprint video, images, etc. to help systems automate what's partially (or fully) synthetic vs not. Perhaps a label is needed. The trouble is, some things might have minor edits that make the content mostly real (like Photoshop).

I suspect this will be a lot more valuable and realistic over say a prompt engineer. AI models are like legos and you can piece them together to achieve new state of the art results through cleverness / knowledge. And you only need a fraction of the academic AI knowledge.
