it resolved the noise issue where low frequencies introduce white noise. But it does not alter the preamp noise.

yes sir. That is the AEA KU5A. It's an active supercardioid ribbon mic. It has a very healthy output because of the active electronics so it avoids the common Ribbon mic issue of being too quiet. And it's also supercardioid, so fewer issues comb filtering on the rear lobe of sensitivity indoors. But it still offers that rich and smooth ribbon sound.

Maybe Audio Technica at4050 or maybe at4047. It definitely looks like some variant of the Audio Technica 40 series if I'm not mistaken.

the original blue yeti does not require any kind of proprietary software. The yeti nano and the yeti X can be used without software, but to get any of the processing functionality you would need to use Logitech proprietary software.

Early on in my youtube channel, I made the decision to not accept any money for any reason from companies I would review. This ensures there’s no perceived or actual conflict of interest.
I also hate advertisements, so I have only done 5 host read ads over the 700+ Podcastage videos I’ve done.
In the end I don’t think anyone will have noticed or even cared that I did this, and I may regret it because I’ve easily left 6-figures on the table. But it helps me sleep at night, so fuck it.

In the latest NA @npub1fmx…wp74 is exactly right about the requirement to disclose affiliate links, disclose if you’re being paid, and disclose if you’ve received any form of compensation (even a free product).
If you are not disclosing this, it is a violation of FTC guidelines. That’s why there have been multiple big cases against influencers who do not properly disclose ads.
Also, if you’re not disclosing properly you’re misleading people which means you suck.
