That may be so but we are dependent on the Clinic that supplies all the equipment. They only check us once a year (in the Autumn). I think it's more about the quality of the air, and possibly the tubing.

This will only be understood by those using a mask for CPAP.
I had annoying rainout, so to solve that I removed the humidifier (emptied the water). That worked for one night and was a blessed relief, BUT then I got a runny nose and constant sneezing, plus a very itchy eye.
Looked it up online and as I suspected it was the lack of moisturized air.
So now I have a limited choice, wet drops with rainout, or runny nose and sneezing, or no mask at all.
No mask last night, but this cannot continue.

It happened again, and I still don't know why or how... my Tablet (which I had charged to 100 percent just before bedtime) was at ZERO percent this morning, so much so that I could not even restart it. It was no longer active in any way.
I run a firewall plus I put it in airplane mode when I am not using it, so I have no idea what happened. I am recharging it right now, so I will see what might have happened.

To solve a few problems I am using an old laptop, formerly used by my husband (so I have created a new login).
This meant I had to install various things, like Chrome... but when I signed in to Chrome, lo and behold, it loaded all my extensions, bookmarks, saved sites... everything.
I am amazed, but also asking, where did it get that data? If it's saved it to its servers isn't that a bit insecure?

Scary! Hubby has (I just learn) been getting phone messages from supposedly his daughter, first saying she has got a new phone and then today asking for money.
I knew at once it was a scammer (because I've seen this routine mentioned online so often) but he is naive and trusting... he just happened to come and show me the WhatsApp message asking for money, and I KNEW what it meant.
Turns out his phone has been hacked and he will have to get a new number if possible.

Something new and disturbing to add to my wariness of Amazon and its devices. For the first time ever, I looked at the "sharing" section on our Amazon account and then discovered in the "Family" section a login for a child named Herbert and another unnamed child.
We have no children!
BUT (here is where it gets scary) we have often talked about an imaginary son we call Herbert, just for a laugh. It seems the Amazon devices in our home have picked that up as real and added him to our family page.

A productive morning, moving, checking and throwing away a LOT of packing boxes for items we bought over the last few years.
I keep product boxes for a while in case whatever they held needs to be returned.
There are also items that have been replaced recently (like the router) and I'm hanging onto the older version just in case.
Are you ruthless about throwing everything away, or do you store things for a while "just in case"?

How many of you dislike these new bottle caps?
How many of you, like me, often cut the cap off - because I've never had a problem either losing, discarding or not replacing the cap in the past.
Problem is, you turn the cap, it comes partly off, you have to twist it to get it to dangle on the plastic thread, then when you drink or pour, the damn cap keeps getting in the way.
I have had water spill all over the table because the cap slipped back in the line of fire.

Our internet connction dropped briefly last night.
I wouldn't have been aware of that, or even cared about it, BUT the Alexa echo screen decided to announce it anyway, by putting a very bright screen up all through the night.

I have been running all the scenarios through my troubled mind, including reformatting and then installing Win10, but I would lose all that the company had pre-installed including Outlook. I now have questions that seem to have no answer, after having scoured the internet for help.

The computer I bought already had Windows 11 pre-installed and when I switched it on first time, it started this long process of logging me in to Windows and my MS account. So far I have had NO choice in the matter.

I hate Microsoft!! It's worse than Google, if that is possible.
My new comp finally arrived and before I can set it up it goes into a LONG routine (not possible to exit or opt out) making me agree to about ten screens of MS things by default.
I did say no to whatever I could, but it still demanded that I become a slave to Microsoft and its products. I was forced to sign in to my Microsoft account as well.
And I stress, I haven't even got to the Windows desktop yet.

Poor Santa, but what did he expect? Years ago chimneys were big enough for a man or at least a boy to slide down. Maybe that is how this myth began. But tell me why Santa has to come down the chimney. Couldn't he just knock on the door like a normal person.

I had a very disturbing morning. I woke feeling "something is not right" and then was so tired that I dozed for an hour after breakfast.
During that time I "became" somebody else in dreams, and it was SO real that when I woke up I couldn't shake it off.
I honestly felt like I had lost my mind. Slowly the feelings wore off, and I returned to me. But it was scary!!

I am hoping these were all real sounds. I have identified one this morning, the alarm sound was in fact my husband's watch, which beeps when separated from his phone, and he had gone to the toilet.

I am beginning to wonder if auditory hallucinations are possible while in semi sleep.
This morning I heard a sound that I eventually identified as a clock alarm although I don't use one.
Recently, too, I heard a woman say hello, and two nights ago screaming and shouting as if in a fight, although possibly that could have been outside.... but nobody else heard it.
These noises sound totally authentic but I am wondering.
