mainly the PoE requirement - I'd be powering a lot of PoE esp32 boards and such like over it, and CAT6a (as I understand it) has thicker (amp-bearing) copper.

Honestly I'm just thinking about unshielded cat6a for everything. Any parallel runs with electrical cable will be separated by at least 20cm, and it's just in an apartment, not an electrically noisy environment. And given all this will be above suspended ceilings I'd like to keep the weight down.

And if anyone has any opinions about going for CAT6a over CAT8, I'd be interested in hearing them.
(This is for a home - the most heavy traffic will be streaming videos from a NAS to players. More interested in PoE and PoE-powered sensors than anything).

Does anyone have recommendations for EU online suppliers of quality bulk CAT6a cable? Getting to the point in our renovation where I need to think about this, and the CAT7 cable in DE Bauhaus feels... iffy.

Of course the data from Deutsche Bank is the worst of the lot. It doesn’t provide “real” CSV data for more than 120 days. Beyond that it’s a filthy mishmash of items that can only be obtained from their “financial planning” app.

I have three different bank accounts exported to CSV, and then imported into Google docs *just so I can get the data clean and consistent enough to import*.

By the evening I felt recovered from whatever floored me,so for some reason I decided to install Firefly III and start learning how to do my personal finances correctly.
I have discovered that a decade of not keeping tabs on your personal finances makes things somewhat fucky.

Looks like he has an acute severe lung infection. Poor guy squealed so much during multiple injections and weed all over a nurse.
He’s now passed out with George licking his ears and purring at him.
48 hours of caring for him now. And so of course it’s a 33C weekend. :( #GuineaPigs

Woke up to find little Zippy coughing and sneezing. He’s been hiding away and is having obvious difficulty breathing. So I’m on the way to the specialist vets now. I’m guessing he’s developed pneumonia again. 💔 #GuineaPigs
