I had Zabbix 6.4 running on a #FreeBSD old laptop but foiled up the 15.x upgrade. Missing a dot so file. So i wiped the drive and did a fresh install from DVD.
Trickiest part was again forcing #Zabbix to use PostgreSQL instead of MariaDB because that needs port not pkg, which takes longer on an older machine. Restored templates and a couple hosts and now running Zabbix 7.4, pgsql 16.

The keycap legend shrinkage from the #RaspberryPi 400 to 500 was maybe the only downside to buying the latter and selling off the former. Now traveling with the 500, a Bluetooth mouse and LCD screen; very happy with the power and lightness of the rig. No battery, so not quite laptop convenience.
Now, the 500+ overcomes the key glitch, at double the cost, w/ add-on keys, even more ¢¢¢.
Waveshare gear has been great, in my view, and their newest Pi wiki page is outstanding.

Mu uploads to #Panoramax worked fine with images from my Nikon Coolpix, though that cameras GPS is slow to lock a location. My Android phone images fail.
I'm guessing the EXIF tags are mangled in some way. The images have geo locations as per the phone info display.
Time for exiftool or something?

In a classic #Smalltimore moment, I went to a Scout training event today, and was advised to chat with someone I didn't know, not just my friends, and found the random person I engaged with went to my high school (Poly), the same graduating year, and nearly the same class level (Poly had/has A Course, B Course, and T Course -- we were both "Special B"). Neither of us remembered the other; it was a few decades ago and the class was around 500 students.

#TIL that the US tax web site serves publications in both PDF and EPub formats. Seemed pretty cool, not having to deal with Adobe's "AI summarize??? AI summary? AI?" every time I read a random document. No thanks, I can read and my brain can summarize what I read just fine.

Sigh. My once-trusty Nikon CoolPix point-and-click camera with built-in GPS has gone mushy. Takes a long time to lock in a GPS signal, minutes or longer, and claims to have good signal when the location is not that close. Might need to look around for the next-worse version, but don't want to spend over $100 US if I can help it.

Working on an outdoor pond and relearning wastewater engineering terms like head, flow rate, suspended solids, and now, pressure. I'm easily tempted by test equipment and meters.
