Two days ago, at six in the morning, the rain was pouring heavily & the weather was biting cold. I received a call to rush to the hospital to document a group of patients being evacuated, following the suspension of evacuations after the outbreak of the #iran war
I set off through the rain in hurry, feeling nothing but a desperate urge to reach my destination
After a struggle w transportation, I managed to reach the Red Crescent headquarters & capture the departure of the patients

A strong sandstorm is hitting the area. Many tents have been blown away, and palm trees have fallen onto the tents of displaced people, causing injuries to some of them.

Gazan families organized a protest today to demand information regarding the fate of their missing relatives. Protesters stated they have received no official confirmation as to whether their family members are being held in Israeli military custody.
The families are seeking any information that could clarify the status of their loved ones—clinging to the hope of finding them alive or seeking the closure necessary to mourn those who may have passed.

In what direction are things headed? We no longer believe there is an end to this nightmare, and the painful part is that our minds still tell us there's a trap nearby, and we might not get to enjoy a ceasefire.

#Instagram has, once again, October 1st, deleted my personal content.
When I received this notification, I was completely shocked bc the content they flagged was not the Palestinian journalistic documentation of the ongoing genocide I've been sharing. It was, quite simply, a personal photograph of myself.
They’re no longer just fighting the content—they are fighting the people themselves.
My pic contained absolutely nothing that warrants warrants my acc being restricted

I've been absent from my work for two days due to a moderate cut on my finger. " Can't put on my shoes

These are pics of kids: the first a kid carrying a bundle of bread, and the second holding a pot with a little soup.
I personally took these photos with my camera while working on a news report for an organization. I stress this point cos some friends here were upset before when I used pictures taken by colleagues who had documented scenes of displacement from northern #gaza arriving at the position before me.
These two children are the ones responsible for finding food for their family

Good morning💙It's a new day, & I've woken up to go to work. However, I feel a sense of failure & lethargy after the last thing I filmed with my camera at the Nasser Medical Complex. It was of a Dad & mom who lost their only son next to their tent.
I've to continue with my work at the expense of my mental health, which I lose a bit of every time I witness these scenes.believe that a journalist shouldn't be overly emotional.

I truly ache for my camera and for my eyes, burdened with the weight of what they are forced to see — the horror of bodies burned alive, the flames consuming the innocent, the haunting corridors of Nasser Hospital’s morgue and the cold silence of the refrigerators of the dead. My heart breaks for the lens of my camera, and I know that every journalist feels, deep within, the same unbearable pain I carry.
