My story: A few years ago the phone company said they could not repair our copper wire land line. We moved our phone number over to a VOIP service for a one-time cost of $100 for equipment and then $17/month. Works great, you just plug your internet and your old phone into the box. You can also make and receive landline calls & voicemails from your cell phone using their app. It takes about a week to "port" your land line # over to the VOIP service, and costs about $50.

I know this is unrelated and I'm stating the obvious, but if the battery is not fully charged you should be getting some kind of indicator in the viewfinder to plug it in and charge it up. Just something to keep your eye on before you go out on a photo shoot.

Pre-1945, my mom used to babysit Paul Tibbets' kids, they lived in a duplex across the street. She said he was just a regular guy. They moved and she never saw him again. Just a neighbor that did something that changed the world forever, and now some ex-TV personality gets to erase him from military history? This is not normal, it's irrational and worse than stupid.

What a beautiful rose ! I am surprised that they do so well far up in N CAL.
We have had to remove trees also, but for hurricanes, they were too close to the house. I head on NPR today that Santa Ana winds can get to 70-100 Mph. Hope you don't have to deal with that, too!

Yay ! So glad to hear it's a simple problem and not a dry well. During hurricane season here in FL we keep drinking water in gallon jugs and fill up the bathtub for toilet flushing, etc. when storms get close. I hope these "bomb cyclones" are unusual in your area.
