for lights coming on when I get home, I use the count of people in the home zone going from zero to non-zero. To detect if a person is home, my wife and I have the @npub1hn2…kl6z companion app on our phones & I have UniFi integrated so that I know if we are on the WiFi. The key on the latter is to have our phones not randomize their MAC address on our ssid.

What are your thoughts? Personally, I’m leaning towards this stack:
- Grafana + Prometheus server + Telegraf agent

If we want to make something easily consumable for sharing and many other things then we should start with open graph as the base. A schema already exists that supports many things and could be extended to have a podcast namespace a la structured data under a podcast namespace.
