yep I think I responded on a thread. You can paste a URL to the image and it'll work. The service I used for uploads is hardcoded and it's not accepting uploads anymore afaik.

they don't get to your feed, they are shown under the query after running it. i suggest enabling the "query relay" and typing your preferred relay URL to get the events from. the 30040 event kind (not sure what these are) will only get to the clients that ask the relays for those events. you can always mention them it in a kind 1 and many kind 1 clients will fetch it and try to display it.

looks good! if you want just one event you can set limit to 1, with limit 20 you'll get at most 20 events. if you want multiple kind numbers you do need to use the comma (,) for separating them, spaces are optional!

I couldn't care less about algos or trending lists, I don't use them. I write poasts and engage with poasts I see in my timeline, that's it. Likes are useful to me, in fact they are what I mostly use nowadays to interact with other people's posts apart from replies. I haven't sent zaps in a very long time and don't care much about receiving them.

The beauty of nostr is that you can choose your experience. "Quality signal" will always be subjective imo.

I see likes/reactions as compressed signals to the OP, specially when using emoji or custom emoji. They can mean agreement (+1), ACKing that I've read it 👀, that I find your post funny 😹 or anything else and are a healthy feature of social media imo. There is nothing wrong with sending reactions instead of a reply or zap if the message can be conveyed that way.
