Majorities can be wrong. And.. It's hard to tell ppl "hey your doctor is wrong for not masking, they're endangering you and their patients"-- without coming off as a conspiracy theorist. "Hey they're wrong when they say Covid is mild, because long Covid isn't. It's wrong your president isn't masking. It's wrong what most people you know are doing." So, Yeah... Majorities can be wrong, and small groups right. In fact that's usually how + change starts.

The NC Governor vetoed the anti-mask bill, and now it will go back to the House of Rep who could over-ride that. We cannot have that. It does not protect maskers.

Maybe this is a good time to point out the problems with the mask part of the bill:
A- Although there is an exemption for wearing masks for preventing the spread of contagious disease, it changes language from a more general health statement, why?-- people wear these for allergies, asthma, etc and should be included [Exemption (a) 6]

I know people get overwhelmed with all the problems, like oh COVID and climate change, and wildfires, and bills, and inflation and stress and health.. it's too much to solve. And then when I look at the solutions they all are the same... Wear a mask, plant a tree or garden, do a staycation at a nature park, stay in and stream shows and read e-books, less traffic/commute, more remote stuff, less in store impulse shop, more targeted online what you need shop, more home-cooking.. we can do this.
