some nights my mini wakes up every other minute. It's so annoying I have to turn off the monitor. Other nights it's jsut ok. I suspect some app that triggers it if I last used it before putting it to sleep but I don't know which it is because it happens so erratically. Totally annoying.

MacBook Air is in my experience lighter than the iPad + keyboard combo. The former plain MacBook (no Air) was <1kg but with the bad keys. They should revive that and I saw some post they would eventually.

Look at Germany, The AfD, an extremeist right wing party is soaring at >20% and the conservative CDU and CSU (same party more or less) are trying to copy their policies are losing out to them. FDP has become a complete failure by also adopting some of the policies. People want the real thing, they want the real facism, no some facism light. Or they want a good alternative that is not facist. Good ideas are honoured with votes here in Germany.

As I said, I know what you're getting at. The people constantly asking where the criminals are from don't ask where the overachiever comes from. It sucks for the right reasons.
Let's move away from this particular case. When is it ok to ask someone where they are from? I'm reading lots of articles where they don't want to be asked. Should it be added to articles anyway?
I know, I piss off people with my questions, but I'm truly interested in other people's ideas.

interestingly iterators and iterable structures behave identically in for loops. So iterating over a Set and iterating over a Set.values feels identical:

const v = s.values();
for (const x of s) {console.log(x)};
for (const x of v) {console.log(x)};
```
Yet v can only be consumed once. This came up last week because we had a computed on values and it only ever worked once until I spotted the MapIterator that was created.

I'm amazed at all the weird stuff. We have a very large project by now and I only ever needed obscure TS solutions once or twice. We keep everything really simple and it works very well. I noticed complicated typings mean complicated code.

I really wonder who's going to host all the media. This is expensive. Unlike text only which also accumulates probably a lot of storage, videos and images will be a magnitude more expensive to host.
