No kidding. It hogs resources to develop (Chromium sucks up huge amounts of developer cycles), to build (the above captured build is still running an hour later!),, to download (gigs and gigs over the wire), to store (more gigs on dis), and to run (more gigs of ram). The only advantage in the whole chain is web devs don't have to learn anything about native GUI toolkits — an 'advantage' I consider dubious to start with.

That feeling when you have 96 cores and a couple of them are not pulling their weight. Who even gives cores permission to slack off 1%? Don't they understand people are waiting for their fresh Electron releases?

My usual sarcasm aside, I've been messing with this one and I think I would actively recommend **AGAINST** using it or promoting it.
This is AI slop with a note of danger. The OP building it doesn't understand the Git reflog very well and isn't competent to notice when the AI generated code and documentation doesn't match. The UI and most of the actions are reasonable enough, but with easy recovery of states it also make it easy to LOOSE states.

Similar story from me. I'd probably send newer terminal converts towards zellij but tmux seems to have more flexibility at the expense of setup difficulty. With several decades of having it configured to my liking I haven't found a good reason to switch even after a couple test drives.

Just for the record, I personally think Google has become evil™ for many reasons, this just isn't one of them. Neither Google nor anybody else is in a position to use their mapping platform to arbitrate globally "correct" answers to disputed territory. Following local laws is pretty much the only robust solution, and that means drawing lots of different maps. Note that every other major mapping platform out there, including open-source ones, face similar issues.

Cartography has been complicated long before this. Google has always served up different names (and even drawn different boarders) depending on the user's jurisdiction for as long as they have had international offices. This does not make them an arm of #POTUS they just follow regional laws. They do the same for far worse regimes.
