That surprises me that you didn’t play sports.
Hubs has been traveling a lot with the new job. I’ve been planning lots of nights out for when he’s home. He loves going out. I can take it or leave it most times.

haha! I don’t think I’m scary. I did just lose a pen pal but honestly he was kind of a mess. I think he was looking for something spicy. But he wasn’t doing a good job explaining that so the women responding weren’t on the same page. He kept wanting me to help him find someone spicy. But then he’d make these wild, random posts that would piss people off. It was exhausting. It’s like he wanted the end result without being patient. Great pen pals take time. He got frustrated and told me he was gonna leave so I wasn’t surprised when he did.

Not much going on here. We had a lot of rain over the weekend which cancelled things. We were supposed to go to the lantern lighting ceremony at this big old historic cemetery but they canceled it due to the weather.
This weekend I have a show but it’s more a variety show. It’s a comedian, an improviser and a drag queen on each team. And it’s 80’s themed. Other than that, I don’t understand what’s going on and I don’t know any of the other performers. Plus hubs is out of town this weekend so I’ll probably have to uber into thr city.

Lady in the ER is screaming because her mom was brought in by ambulance. Apparently the mom has a DNR and the daughter doesn’t want her removed from the ambulance because of the DNR. Think she’s confusing Do Not Resuscitate with Do Not Remove. I could be wrong.

Somehow my tiny mind thought you just buy an ice cream maker, throw the stuff in and have delicious ice cream in an hour. NOPE! You have to strip caviar out of vanilla beans. You have to cook the mixture to a precise temp. You have to cool it in an ice bath then in the fridge. It’s an all day event! You know what’s not an all day event? Driving to the store and buying ice cream :/

I’ve been getting Botox (for migraines - don’t hate the procedure hate the reason LOL) for decades. Today is the first time he told me to not do anything for 24 hours so the injections don’t move. Granted you can look at me and see I haven’t been doing anything for 50 years but it’d still be nice if he faked like I do stuff.

I’m usually really good with calendar stuff. I write everything down and set ton of reminders every day. I’m always getting on hubs for being bad about this. So I had to tell him I messed up my appointment. On the plus side, I didn’t miss it. I’m just a day early.
I’m sorry the resort was a nightmare. But it must be bad if you don’t want to talk about it.

Hubs retirement party was a huge success. Hundreds of people showed up. It was like a wedding reception where I only got to talk to some of them and only for a short people of time. I’m trying to convince him to let us host a party like that every year.

I was on the bike at PT and this lady came running across the gym, yelled my name and gave me a hug. We lived on the same floor in college for two years. That was 30+ years ago!! I got this butter crock thing to keep butter soft. You put cold water in the bottom and the butter is in the lid. But I either put in too much water or the butter falls out if the lid.
