For obvious health reasons, some people want to go back to the original looking pug.
wikipedia,
Retro Pugs
The breeding trend of Pugs led to shorter muzzles and shorter legs over time, with the dogs susceptible to some health problems. In 2023, the Netherlands placed limitations on the breeding of various short-faced breeds, including the conventional Pug.[31] Since around 2006 there has been a counter-trend in some countries to breed "retro pugs". Breeders who pursue that change in the breed aim for longer snouts, less protruding eyes, straighter legs and fewer facial wrinkles.[32][33][34]

I guess some people think they are cute, and they are supposed to have good temperaments.
Unfortunately, humans have bred them to be cute and adorable not functional like a normal dog. I mean a type of dog that could survive on its own if necessary.
The ancestors of pugs had longer snouts and longer legs. Humans really messed this dog up genetically.
wikipedia
Brachycephaly
Since Pugs lack longer snouts and prominent skeletal brow ridges, they are susceptible to eye injuries such as proptosis, scratched corneas, and painful entropion.[2] They are also prone to dry eyes, inflammation of the cornea, and corneal pigmentation, leading to vision impairment or blindness if untreated.[35]
The shortened snout and pushed in face of the Pug is known as brachycephaly.[36] Brachycephaly results in deformation of the upper airway tract and leads to obstruction of breathing.[37][38][39] Potential effects of brachycephaly are stridor, stertorous breathing, emesis, skin fold dermatitis, brachycephalic airway obstructive syndrome, exophthalmos, pharyngeal gag reflex, cyanosis, and laryngeal collapse.[40][41][38][42][43][44][45]
Other issues arising from brachycephaly are risk of complications whilst under anaesthesia,[46] and hyperthermia – with the latter caused due to an inability to effectively reduce body temperature via panting.[47] Their breathing problems can be worsened by the stresses of traveling in air cargo, which may involve high temperatures. Following the deaths of Pugs and other brachycephalic breeds, several airlines either banned their transport in cargo or enacted seasonal restrictions.[48][49]
Obesity
An overweight Pug
Research from the UK found that Pugs are more prone to obesity than other breeds. They are three times more likely to become obese, and one in every five Pugs are diagnosed as obese in a year.[50] Obesity should be considered a health priority in Pugs because of the high prevalence, associated health problems and reversible nature of the disorder.[51]

Schuyler Bailar was an excellent swimmer in high school. She was beating all the girls and breaking records. She transitioned in college, and they let her on the men's team. The best she could do against men was third place. If she didn't "transition", she might have set women's records, or even gone to the Olympics.
Cal Calamia is like little cheat Mac Beggs. Mac Beggs is the female wrestler from Texas who was taking testosterone while wrestling high school girls. Because it was prescribed by a doctor as part of "gender affirming care", they let her wrestle. Of course, she beat the other girls.
At any rate, it goes like this. Testosterone is a banned substance. Testosterone is classified as an anabolic agent by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). In high-level competition, using it without a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) is generally a violation, regardless of category. It's considered doping. Because trans are so very, very special, females can dope with testosterone for their "gender dysphoria". "Gender dysphoria" is essentially a psychological issue that can't be scientifically quantified one way or another. Any other athlete with a legitimate medical diagnosis would have to provide a mountain of medical evidence, tests, to ask for a Therapeutic Use Exemption. Then, there would be no guarantee of a TUE.
Cal has been running in the non-binary category. Some major races have a non-binary category now. Because trans is so special, she gets to dope with testosterone. If Cal can take testosterone, I assume all the other females in the non-binary category could too. They could just rattle off some trans non-sense about being trapped in the wrong body, or whatever. While the non-binary category is a welcome change because it would keep TIMs out of women's events, it could end up being corrupted with all females on testosterone. Women who identify as non-binary would feel compelled to take testosterone.
https://www.npr.org/2023/11/05/1198909099/a-nonbinary-marathoners-fight-to-change-anti-doping-policy
https://www.them.us/story/cal-calamia-runner-trans-nonbinary-testosterone-exemption
Higher testosterone levels generally enhance running performance by increasing lean muscle mass, improving power output, and enhancing red blood cell production, which boosts oxygen delivery and endurance. While it supports faster, stronger running—particularly in sprinting and endurance—effects can vary, and extremely high levels are regulated in competitive sports.
Key Impacts of Testosterone on Running:
Increased Endurance: Testosterone improves cardiovascular function and boosts red blood cell production, allowing for better oxygen delivery to muscles, which can reduce fatigue during long-distance running.
Greater Speed and Power: Studies show higher testosterone levels in males correlate with significantly faster times in short-distance, high-intensity sprints (20-30m).
Muscle Maintenance & Recovery: As an anabolic hormone, it supports the growth and repair of muscle tissue, helping athletes recover faster between intense training sessions.
Performance in Women: Research indicates that raising testosterone levels in women can increase lean muscle mass and improve time to exhaustion by over 8%.
The non-binary category winners are male.
"The non-binary category uses the women’s qualifying time, due to another basic fact: Non-binary individuals may be either biologically male or biologically female.
In the two years since the non-binary category was introduced, both winners have been biological men, evidence, if we needed it, of the truth of Fact No. 1."

"The fact that so many on our court want to pretend that this case is about anything other than swinging dicks is the very reason the shocking language is necessary...Sometimes "dignified and civil" words are employed to mask a legal abomination."
It's state sanctioned sexual harassment. This shameful, utterly insane and disgusting mess that gets crazier every day is the result of adding "gender identity" to state anti-discrimination laws.
Washington State is as captured by trans lunacy as California. The Olympus Spa decision in Washington was so insane and wrong. Grown men exposing their penis to women and girls in intimate spaces where women expect privacy is not a civil right. It's violating the human rights of females.
I googled it.
"Washington State has specific laws regarding indecent exposure, primarily governed by RCW 9A.88.010.
RCW 9A.88.010 defines indecent exposure in Washington State as the intentional, obscene exposure of oneself or another in public, knowing it is likely to cause alarm. It is generally a misdemeanor, but elevates to a gross misdemeanor if involving a minor under 14, or a class C felony for repeat offenders"
How can reasonable people determine "intent"? No one can read another person's mind. The idiotic judges can't read minds. There is no way to know what is actually going through a man's mind when he is parading around nude in a women's spa. Maybe he really does get off on exposing himself. Why do the moronic judges assume that every male claiming "gender identity" who parades his penis around a women's spa or locker room has pure intentions?
Men have all kinds of sick, twisted festishes. Some men do, in fact, get off on exposing themselves. Research that goes back years says paraphilias are more common in males.
To satisfy their sick fetish, all these men would have to do is stroll into a women's locker room or spa and claim "gender identity".

"But if you get rid of these labels, don’t you risk dismantling the communities that have formed under their rubrics and, by extension, the political protections that marginalized people have fought for decades to gain?
Robinson: I think the risk is worth it. While those communities are important, moving beyond those labels allows us to see people more accurately. It leads to a more complex — and more biologically accurate — understanding of ourselves as human beings. It allows us to explore our desires beyond labels that often confine and constrain us. And it allows us to explore our desires beyond shame that often comes with many labels as well. "

High school boys should NOT wrestle against female wrestlers. Not only is it unfair and dangerous, high school boys could cop a feel and grope a girl, and then say it was an accident. Hormones are raging in high school, and boys can get nasty.

First of all, I'm sorry for the loss of life and my ❤️ goes out to the families of the victims, British Columbia, and Canada.
Yes, people living in the country need guns for hunting and protection.
The shooter who killed 9 people obviously should have never gotten a hold of a gun. He went hunting for humans not game.
Whose gun did he use? Was it his gun, or did it belong to his parents? This happened at a high school, but what I've read said he was 18 years old. Was he still in high school?
Maybe people who sell guns to mentally unstable people need to be heavily fined or imprisoned. And, parents who own firearms must keep them out of the hands of their family members, especially if they are showing signs of mental illness.
I hope Canada never ends up looking like the U.S. with rampant gun violence and death.

How many people are buried under the rubble?
How many have died of starvation and infection?
In November 2025, a study by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research estimated that the total number of violent deaths in Gaza was between 100,000 and 126,000, of which 27% were children under 15 years old, and 24% women
https://www.mpg.de/25778228/1125-defo-gaza-study-reveals-unprecedented-losses-of-life-and-life-expectancy-154642-x
As of late 2025, the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip has experienced a near-total collapse, with approximately 94% of hospitals damaged or destroyed. The destruction has been systematic, rendering most medical facilities non-functional or operating at severely limited capacity due to attacks, fuel shortages, and lack of supplies.
As of late 2025, over 80% of buildings in the Gaza Strip are damaged or destroyed, with some areas facing near-total devastation. Nearly 92% of all housing units have been destroyed or damaged, and entire neighborhoods have been leveled to rubble, leaving roughly 15-20% of structures in varying states of, likely damaged, condition.

The 71,769 is a low number. It can't be accurate considering the fact that people are still dying. The entire infrastructure has been demolished (roads, water treatment, power plants, schools, etc). The health care system is destroyed.
There are people in Gaza who are buried under the rubble, and the genocide still continues as people are dying from starvation, infection, hunger, hypothermia, etc.
Nearly the entire population of Gaza, around 1.9 million people (about 90%), has been internally displaced due to the conflict since October 2023, with many forced to move multiple times, creating a massive humanitarian crisis with severe lack of shelter, food, and water, according to the UN, IRC, and human rights groups.

"A lot more women world wide are murdered by Islamic fundamentalism"
I don't think that is true. Add up all the deaths caused by the U.S. and Israel.
In 1995 Vietnam released its official estimate of the number of people killed during the Vietnam War: as many as 2,000,000 civilians on both sides and some 1,100,000 North Vietnamese and Viet Cong fighters. The U.S. military has estimated that between 200,000 and 250,000 South Vietnamese soldiers died.
Estimates of civilian deaths in Iraq since the 2003 invasion vary significantly, generally ranging from over 150,000 to over 1 million, with direct violent deaths often cited between 180,000 and 210,000. Other estimates, including those counting indirect deaths, run much higher, with some studies suggesting up to 461,000–600,000 total deaths.
(There were no WMDs in Iraq in 2003 and Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. As to 9/11, based on the physical evidence, what we were told can't be true - Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, chemistry professor Neils Harrits paper on nano-thermite).
As of early January 2026, reports indicate that over 73,600 people have been killed in the Gaza war, including 72,437 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry and Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Recorded direct deaths are cited at over 71,600, with thousands more presumed dead in the rubble and from famine.

The idea was to prevent Abbas — or anyone else in the Palestinian Authority’s West Bank government — from advancing toward the establishment of a Palestinian state.”

"Anyway, a king is still better than a fascist theocracy"
They are both evil. Would the son of the Shah of Iran be as brutal as his father?
I asked Gemini if the Shah tortured his female political enemies.
"Yes, under the regime of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, female political prisoners and activists were subjected to torture, primarily at the hands of SAVAK (the national intelligence and security organization).
While the Shah’s government was known for advancing certain women's rights in the public sphere—such as the right to vote and the Family Protection Law—this did not extend to those perceived as "enemies of the state."
Methods of Torture Used on Women
Historical accounts and reports from organizations like Amnesty International during the 1970s documented brutal methods used on both men and women, with some specifically designed to humiliate or target female prisoners:
Sexual Violence: Reports frequently cited rape and sexual threats as a primary tool of humiliation and psychological breaking.
The "Snake" Method: According to survivor accounts and human rights reports, SAVAK agents sometimes used snakes to terrify female prisoners.
Physical Beatings: The bastinado (flogging the soles of the feet) was the most common method. Other techniques included hanging prisoners by their wrists or ankles for extended periods.
Psychological Torture: This included sleep deprivation, mock executions, and forcing prisoners to witness the torture of their own children or spouses.
Notable Cases
Fatemeh Amini: A member of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), she is often cited as the first woman to die under torture in the Shah’s prisons (1975). SAVAK reportedly covered up her death by claiming she died in a mountain climbing accident.
"Mother" Rezaii: A well-known political activist whose testimony detailed being flogged until her flesh broke open and being hung by her wrists to the point of permanent injury."

WTF!
At 26:40 of the video, the woman with the curly, frizzy hair says people in Iran want the son of the Shah of Iran to come back as leader. Then, the other woman says the same thing. WTF? Who the hell did they talk to? Reza Pahlavi is the eldest son of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran. If the son is half as brutal as his father, it would be a sad day for Iran with him in charge. The Shah was installed after the CIA and MI6 coup because they wanted a western puppet who would open Iran to large multinational oil companies. The last democratically elected Iran leader, Mossadegh, tried to nationalize the oil.
"Writing at the time of the Shah's overthrow, Time magazine on February 19, 1979, described SAVAK as having "long been Iran's most hated and feared institution" which had "tortured and murdered thousands of the Shah's opponents".[10] The Federation of American Scientists also found it guilty of "the torture and execution of thousands of political prisoners" and symbolising "the Shah's rule from 1963–79." The FAS list of SAVAK torture methods included "electric shock, whipping, beating, inserting broken glass and pouring boiling water into the rectum, tying weights to the testicles, and the extraction of teeth and nails".[45][46]" Wikipedia

It was frightening and it felt rather cringy, but I watched most of the video. It's clear they want regime change in Iran. That isn't going to happen without a large scale military war with Iran, and we know that involves the U.S. and Israel. Considering what the U.S. looks like now (rampant crime, unemployment, poverty, trillions in federal budget deficits, homelessness, etc.) why in the hell does the U.S. need to get dragged into another war for Israel? Iran hasn't attacked the U.S. Give more money to the defense contractors while Trump dismantles the Department of Education, EPA, cuts Medicaid, etc.
Moreover, some people actually do their research. A war with Iran could destabilize the entire region. And, Iran gets technical assistance and some weapons from Russia and China. China gets oil from Iran. China doesn't want part of its oil supply cut off. Hell, a war with Iran could cut off the global oil supply. Look at a map of the Middle East. See the Strait of Hormuz. It's a critical choke point, and Iran could block it. Military analysts know it. Trump sent the huge aircraft carrier USS Lincoln to the Gulf which will only spook Iran and intensify the tension in the region.
Sometimes I don't know what to think about Iran. Yes, I know that the regime in Iran is misogynistic and oppressive. This is the problem. If the current regime topples, what will it be replaced with? Who, or what, will take the place of Khomeini? History teaches us that coups, regime change don't always turn out for the best. A CIA and MI6 coup put the Shah or Iran in power. He tortured and killed his political enemies both men and women. The so-called Iranian Revolution that put Khomeini in power was blowback from the western backed Shah. So, I don't know what to think about Iran. I would like the regime to topple, but what replaces it is the question.

"History Repeating: Has Antisemitism Taken Root in Feminism"
In my humble opinion, people should be asking this question. Why have feminists ignored the deaths of approximately 71,400 to 73,600+people in Gaza (half of the dead are women and children). Most experts know that the 71,000 estimated deaths is a low number because every day more Palestinians die because Israel has flattened the country, completely destroyed the health care system, infrastructure (water treatment and power plants), roads, houses, etc. People are starving and have no access to health care. People in Gaza are dying from infections, lack of food and water, freezing to death, etc. So, the 71,000 is just an estimate of the number killed, or will eventually die. And, no one knows how many bodies are still under the rubble.
As to "antisemitism", It's NOT "antisemitism" to criticize Israel's genocide in Gaza. Freedom of speech is enshrined in the Constitution, and law-abiding citizens should have the right to criticize the actions of any foreign government. Zionism is NOT the same as Judaism. Judaism has been around for centuries while Israel wasn't even a country until 1948.
There are Jewish people in the U.S. and around the world that don't support what Israel has done in Gaza. They don't support Israel, and they are peaceful people who practice their religion.

It's sad and tragic that he committed suicide. Maybe if the parents got him some real counseling instead of pandering to his strange French maid cat outfit fetish, obsession, he might be alive today. Who the hell knows. The family should have told him that it's not appropriate to wear a French maid, cat ears outfit to work. The article goes on about "gender dysphoria", acceptance, etc. It sounds like this young man had all kinds of mental health issues. As to the French maid, cat ears, he could have picked that up online from all the freaky trans, "sissy", furry, fetish sites. We are all supposed to be understanding because it's "gender dysphoria" and discrimination. Maybe it's just a mixed up 20 year old that spends too much time on fetish sites.
"The Links said Naomi was fired from her job as a custodian at St. John Lutheran Church in Granite City because she wouldn’t sign a document agreeing to wear a shirt, pants and shoes to work instead of a French maid outfit with cat ears, a tail and stocking feet."
"Naomi had been working as church custodian for more than four years. In the beginning, she wore traditional men’s clothing. It is unclear when she switched to the cat-maid outfit. Church leaders initially set a deadline of July 21, 2024, for Naomi to sign a document agreeing to abide by an employee handbook with a dress code, giving her a month to review it, according to letters between the Links and Hale shared with the BND. The Links said that prompted Naomi — who had suffered from depression but had only been treated for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder by a family doctor — to have a "mental breakdown" and get an emergency evaluation at a St. Louis hospital."

Question:
To what extent are the protests in Iran organic coming from the people? Has Mossad and the CIA been fomenting the unrest?
Most experts will say that it's a sure bet that Israel and the CIA play a part in infiltrating the crowds and instigating riots. It's hard to tell because what is said on mainstream news differs from several liberal independent online sources. What the Iranian government is saying can't be trusted, and neither can the corporate controlled western media.
I wonder what Iran would be like today if the CIA and MI6 didn't overthrow the democratically elected Mossadegh. Iranian's hatred of the Shah lead to what we have today. The Shah of Iran's secret service tortured his political enemies and was corrupt. The SAVAK (Sazman-e Etelaat Va Amniat Keshvar) was created with assistance from the CIA and Mossad. SAVAK became notorious for its use of brutal interrogation techniques against political prisoners, especially during the 1970s guerrilla insurgency. Iranians also saw the Shah too Western. The Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, was overthrown by the 1979 Iranian Revolution, which transformed Iran from a monarchy into an Islamic Republic led by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, fueled by public anger over the Shah's autocratic rule, Westernization, corruption, and suppression.
This is the history, and It was always about the oil. The U.S. and UK were outraged that Mossadegh nationalized the oil companies taking control from the British-owned Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC). He wanted the oil wealth to go to the people. The CIA and MI6 pulled off a coup and installed the Shah who was very pro-Western.
I asked Gemini how they carried out the coup.
"The CIA and MI6 overthrew Iran's Prime Minister Mossadegh in 1953 through Operation Ajax (or TPAJAX), a covert effort involving bribery, propaganda, organizing street riots with paid agents and hoodlums, manipulating the press, and recruiting military and religious figures to create chaos, ultimately convincing the Shah to dismiss Mossadegh and restore pro-Western rule, securing Western oil interests after Mossadegh nationalized the industry.
Key Tactics Used:
Propaganda & Media: Agents spread anti-Mossadegh disinformation, bribed newspaper editors, and published false stories to create a climate of fear, often falsely linking him to communism.
Bribery & Intimidation: Funds were used to bribe parliamentarians, army officers, and religious leaders to turn them against Mossadegh.
Orchestrated Unrest: Paid agitators and mobs were used to stage riots, creating the impression of instability and chaos, sometimes even posing as communists to threaten religious figures.
Military & Political Manipulation: The CIA, led by Kermit Roosevelt Jr., pressured the Shah to sign decrees dismissing Mossadegh, while also working with anti-Mossadegh elements within the military.
Staging Events: A CIA-drafted decree was initially delivered, but the plan faltered; however, a successful second attempt on August 19, 1953, saw pro-coup forces, supported by tanks, take control of Tehran."
