I have arrived back home. AWOL (as far as the cats are concerned) for about 21hr.
Missy was unconcerned and gave me a polite, almost surprised, greeting.
Pi gave me 1 snarky meow. It was not polite.
Food applied.
Lap-time is next.

I left home at 3pm and won't return until about midday tomorrow*.
I decided the cats would be ok for the time without a human to wait on them hand and foot.
By 6:30pm**, both cats had been to raid the dry food.
*Ken's work (local council) is doing a memorial mention for him in their city hall meeting tomorrow morning. I came up to avoid an early morning drive (1hr+) in an unfamiliar area while distressed.
**I have a camera*** pointing at their food (and kitty litter).
***What?! Doesn't everyone? It's totally normal.

Tap tap, is this thing on?
The last week+ a bit must have been busy.
Friday was estate stuff with my mother, my sibling was also able to attend.
Saturday was Pi's follow-up dental at vet + stuff with 🤠's 2nd son.
Sunday was ART! I learnt about resin with a friend - picking up the completed piece (wall hanging for my 'coming soon you a hallway near me' gallery) tomorrow.
Monday was work + bidding 🤠's legal person for signing off important documents (and then visiting Mum because she lives nearby and has toilets!)
Tuesday was work.
Wednesday was work + cook special meal for 🤠
Thursday was a 4am start to get 🤠 to hospital for surgery, and seeing my surgeon for follow-up.
Friday (oh! Today!) was my dentist and visiting 🤠. It has been 3 years since I last got to the dentist. No issues at all - perfect teeth For over 50 years - but they keep insisting on coming back in 6 months time. Why?
Saturday - plan to collect 🤠.
Also flooded laundry at some point (blocked drain).
