yes I know, I've been using it for years. But it sometimes does notifications that it can't resolve hosts. It does notifications in the bar for updates etc.
Those are 'new things'. Older people don't get used to new things in tech. I'll see how I'll solve that, the updating notifications should be able to hidden. Those resolving errors don't.

hmm, might have to put fdroid on my dad's phone. But you know how older people are, they don't need new things. Let's see how that goes 😏, looks like it solves his casting problem

we're getting relatively much spam reports here as well.
Resolving them is not a problem. But we're seeing an increase in those reports lately

any hints as to why? As it's reachable from 3 hits and this mastodon instance is able to fetch the preview info.
Are you by any chance filtering domains that have a short lifetime on the DNS record, or are you able to provide an error code of your browser?

Just launched a public node page for my #i2p #reticulum nodes, connected to ReticulumNet NL. Reconfigured the transports to connect there.

cool project. I want to do some meshtastic too, but I see there are nodes here, so it wouldn't contribute that much, and I can spend the money better.
I found reticulum network even nicer, but that's pretty small 😁

that's your call. We don't do much in public opinions, and welcome everyone that adheres to the server rules (which are quite reasonable). So that should be fine imho

I'm sure if you've verified the account and person that @npub1hn3…5ffn and our team provide a safe haven if needed. We do provide a high level of anonymity and overlay network access. Feel free to sign up here. If they do so, let me know, I'll add a moderator note to the account

I completely agree. If you don't educate the user, it will never change and you're actually hurting decentralisation by proxy @npub1xsv…q6he

at least Windows gives you a browser ballot. On macOS you're pretty much stuck with safari by default. Android recently asked with a browser ballot too.
I think this action is great but should be for all parties. I don't like the browser ballot that much, but it's a good thing in theory

but I don't have to tell you that, I think we pretty much think similar on many of these matters. We can only educate, and surround ourselves with the people with the proper mindset.
I do apologise if I don't pick my words right, I'm doing well I think, but it's still worth nothing that English isn't my mother tongue. On topics like these it might be worth mentioning 😂

yeah I'm 'fully' aware of the situation (and you're geographical location) as far as I think I can be. I'm so tired of using 'groups' as an identifier. People do crime, so yes ofcourse immigrants do crime, so does any other 'group'. For me even using the word group here feels dehumanising.
Even if immigrants would have a higher crime rate, let's say they do for arguments sake, then we would still need to look at WHY. Because noone is the problem, everyone has a problem.

criminals are people, immigrants are people, white people are people, colored people are people. In my book you're a criminal if you do a crime. I'm pretty sure my complete environment thinks the same about that, if they don't I'll educate them.
I really don't have the time to be bothered by such small minded views. I'm glad that the police in .nl isn't that racially biased as that some people say they are. I hope at some point we can talk about people again in society.

we need more actionism as activism (yes I coined a new term here). More seed bombs, guerilla gardening. Understandable that rogue mushroom takeovers are harder to pull off, but news like this motivates me to vandalize with greenery
