I went down a dark road today that led to this house I lived in when I was a kid. Unfortunately, I learned at a very young age—while living in that house—that I couldn’t trust the adults in my life. Between “not knowing” and “kids being kids” back then…what else was I supposed to do but live in fear?
It’s only in the last year that I’ve been able to start recognizing my past fears and finally put them to rest.

@npub1rqc…u8ry as a former California/PNW dweller now living in a very red part of Tennessee, I have mixed feelings when I see plates from the left coast here.
On one hand, they could be like me: sick of the left and have no desire to change anything here.
On the other, you’ve got people who bring muh feelz with them and expect everyone else to support their delusions.
Fortunately, the quaint town I live in is in the middle of nowhere. The only reason people stop here is Buc-ees.

@npub1a73…7y6q if I had a Series 8, I probably wouldn't buy a 9 either.
It's the same reason I'm not buying an iPhone 15: I have two perfectly good iPhone 14 devices (a Plus for work and a Pro for personal use).

I would assume it's available in the beta versions of WatchOS at this point. I'll wait until it's released. :)

In all the years I’ve been in the Apple cult, I’ve never pre-ordered anything…but when you’re looking to replace a 4+ year old Apple Watch that’s 5 generations old…it was time.
