Today reminded me that taking a full tank into a workout is really helpful. Dinner last night was rich and delicious, and I turned more farmer's market produce into a big breakfast this morning–made a skillet with scratch homefries, peppers, jalapeños, onions, soyrizo, and lime. Good strong dark roast in the French press, juice, and wheat/barley/dark rye toast with this nice and light vegan butter I'm trying out.
Personal best pace of 7:49 for my 30 minute elliptical run.
Worked hard to stay positive this weekend and it's been a pretty good one. Not perfect as I continue to struggle keeping up with people directly, but being more active here is easier and also helps. ^^

Pretty sure I watched a furry account on mastodon(dot)art get suspended in real time this morning.
Furries, get your accounts off of that server.
Some of us have had the sense to call a spade a spade and criticize MA's sociopathic "everyone that disagrees with us is racist/ableist/queerphobic" moderation, as they have suspended entire servers because of a single take they didn't agree with. They've held a special grudge against furries as a whole ever since.
Most people aren't going to dig that deep and say "...hey, cool big art server where my work I'm proud of will be seen!" While word has kind of gotten around, some furries still don't know that several large furry or furry adjacent servers have been forcefully defederated. This shit isn't just annoying, it drives good artists and people in general off Fedi. The first server I joined pulled similar shit after I recruited three of my best friends onto it, and I'll probably never see them again on here because the server got put on shutdown notice after the admin had a breakdown less than a month after they joined.
So yeah, this stuff is kind of personal for me. I hate being so ugly against people I would agree on most issues with in a bar conversation, but as per above...a cookie's a cookie.

Depressive spell over the last couple days, so I looked for and found some healing in kitchen experimentation.
Romesco is one of the overlooked Italian staples in this country...dirt cheap to make and absolutely packed with flavor and versatility. And stealth veggies for those that don't like them by themselves. Eat it with pasta or use it as a dip. Have a new blender and processor which made making it smooth a breeze.
Took the time to augment the roasted tomatoes and sweet pickled red peppers with a mirepoix, and it added impressive depth of flavor, would 100% do this again. Served it with orzo (which should have been linguini but I wanted orzo) and some blanched kale that I needed to use to provide a counterpoint to the sweet and sour. Very good. Peas just for more protein. ^^;
