@nprofile…44dh the first company I worked for used Rocket.Chat for their IMs and it worked better than MS Teams or Google Chat, both of which I've used at later employers. Didn't look as flashy but it was far more stable. I really hope they stick with it for my old coworkers' sake.

@nprofile…wezk glad you threw in the bit about Andreessen being on Meta's board of directors. My first thought was if Meta/X/etc could bring legal action against a16z for backing a company that aims to break their ToS, but that's not likely if he's involved on both sides. It's the social media equivalent of being an arms dealer selling weapons to both armies.

@nprofile…8wcz I'd recommend "Babel" by R. F. Kuang. I read it last year and it's a book with high highs and very low lows in the same vein as TLoU or the Broken Earth trilogy.

@npub1utv…87lr @npub1raf…pqln I heard this week's Rocket and I'm sad, but understanding. This podcast is the only one where I truly never know what I'm going to hear about but I always know it would be a good time. You've covered absolutely everything like big tech, F1, scam artists, a Congressional run, junk food, Taylor Swift, Porsches, pinball, YouTube drama, bad financial decisions, and the best ad reads in the business. I hope that in everything you do going forward you 3 will do incredible things!
