Yeah, I focus more on dressing in a slightly subdued, classic style and less on just acres of cloth. Heavier material is almost more important than the length of the skirt, for instance.
Tweed is always a good choice, or wool.

It's not even that they don't care. They may not even remember that it's there or have the ability to access it.
I have a Twitter account, that I can't get into, anymore, to quit it, as I can't remember enough about it, to validate myself as the owner.
I've got 30 years of Internet spam, out there. Half of the Internet is probably just me. 😅
Same with npubs. My notes are 50% of Nostr and I've got an entire graveyard of npubs that I'll probably never look at, again, and nobody else is interested in, but that thousands of people will pay to store... indefinitely.

It was very confusing because it didn't throw an error that the proper env var for AUTH was missing because there's one hard-coded in and he just overwrites at run-time.
Remember, last time I tried it for like an hour and it kept reverting to some test npub? It was doing that again, so I went on a hunt. I found your PR and then I went to look a the full file and it's all different now. 😅

No, but some of the long-form clients will implement 30040/30041. Then you can choose Markdown or Asciidoc, by selecting which type of event to publish.
Expect everyone to eventually move to Asciidoc, though, since it covers the simpler Markdown and anything more complex is difficult in Markdown. As you know, can't even resize images or make a decent table or ordered list.
We're going to be publishing eBooks, eMagazines, and academic journals, so we couldn't stick to Markdown. And Asciidoc has the plugins for ePUB, Asciimath, PlantUML, and LaTeX generation, and etc. Very smooth from one format to another, and you can use style sheets, so that you have a universal branding of the documents.
We're working on the #Alexandria client parser, at the moment, which is a Nostr-focused extension of the Asciidoc parser.

HTML is not Markdown and I would avoid having HTML in the event content. That's just asking for chaos.

Follower count matters, on Nostr, but not the way you think it does.
The ideal isn't to have a gigantic number. The ideal is to have a mid-sized follower list (between 100 and 5000) only containing active, human followers who have lots of other active human followers.
You can currently only achieve this Nostr Nirvana by migrating to a new npub every 6 months to a year. The quality of interactions will go up, because you shake off the bots, the trolls, and the inactives, and the remainder has to consciously and actively decide, if they want to continue to follow you.
This condenses the signal, every migration, and will give you a high WoT score, even though your follower numbers collapse.
