Last one I made is the gant chart for revising the employee manual at work. I also have a list of weekly tasks that includes clearing off all the horizontal surfaces. That never gets fully accomplished, but the task of one hand written note or email thanking someone for something specific is something I take joy in completing. The personal checklist is pretty raw.

In 2008 I was doing a job that I loved, volunteering at my kids' school, and coaching pee wee soccer. I was in a terrible relationship but had some really good friends who would support me in ending it for good a few years later. My best friend was somewhat clean and working full time in a job she loved. 2008 was an okay year for sure.

My ex was dealt a childhood of abuse. There's a reason he's an ex and it's not because I don't care about him. He was so wrapped up in that cycle that he was repeating it. Physical and psychological. Guy never had a chance to develop an understanding of normalcy that wasn't fear based. I am so incredibly blessed to have had supportive parents. Not spoil me pushovers, but consistently caring. I didn't realize how important it was until it came to trying to parent with a partner that was not given the love and opportunity to develop healthy family bonds.

This is what I'm working with currently. 4g carbs in one piece, but if im having one after lunch or one as a bedtime treat and if that is the extent to which I'm eating sugar, it's not going to having any ill effect on my long term health. I prefer candied ginger, but I can stash these everywhere. Fantastic at calming an upset stomach and calming a bought of dizziness if its related to blood sugar or nausea.

Chimes ginger chews are my favorite but gin gins are ok too. I buy mine off Amazon because the local stores only sell prince of peace. Candied ginger is even better, but i haven't found any individually wrapped ones.

I harvest spring onions (scallions) from spring to fall. Once they mature they do become too fibrous to eat, but the bulbs (the "onion") is still edible. Here's a couple that I could trim for a salad today if I wanted. You can seebhow the mature ones begin to look "woodish".
