I think we have seen with mainstream social media, posts of an illegal nature, racism, antisemitism and 'trends' some of which are dangerous, so moderators need now need to protect users from certain content, on the other hand, having this content on there gives a chance to challenge the views presented, something we are good at here.
If the law is broken, then evidence needs to also be preserved. If there is extreme content then just deleting it, won't stop it being posted again in the future, the authorities and society need help to tackle these processes at the source.
Education is still the key to this, and education starts at home with the parents / .
legal guardians.

Yes, we need to acknowledge that the US is not only aggressive towards neighbours, other countries, BUT also the native population of North America and large groups of it's own people, and this is getting worse.
On a related(ish) topic, BBC news showed a statement from Netenyahu saying this war won't last for years. I am pretty sure Vladimir Putin thought that before invading Ukraine, Time will tell I guess.

I wonder if the fact that since 1776, post independence the USA has never been invaded, hardly ever been attacked by external forces (9/11 being one example) is the reason why it is so aggressive towards others. If the US sustained real threat, and constant bombing as Europe did during WWII, it may treat others differently.
I am sure it is easy to sit in the pentagon and coordinate death and destruction on a global scale, safe that the same won't happen to you, &, friends, family in the USA.
Founding fathers must be turning in their graves right now.

I would like to see if I can start some sort of conversation on here, about #EthicalExploration. We know Elon Musk wants to 'colonize Mars' I really feel that the term Colonize is the wrong word, as I stated on my page, it throws up historical references to empires, one group ruling another and less about going somewhere for peaceful co-existance and scientific advancement.

Markdown support sounds good to me, will that also inclide MathJax Support as that allows insertion of Math / science formulae (via LaTeX I think) to produce properly formatted text.
